Olde Marckt — Restaurant in Aalten

I am giving one star because I cannot give less. The food was okay but the waitress was extremely rude, she offered drinks and we told her we wanted two cappuccinos after the meal, then we gave their own water bottle to our children and soon after the same waitress approached very rudely asking if we were drinking our own water to which I respond that the kids were and I asked if that was a problem, to which the waitress responded “Yes, that is a problem” again as rudely as possible, in many places in the Netherlands kids can drink their own water. If in this restaurant was not allowed the waitress should have warned us in a kind manner, there is no reason to mistreat clients who are already paying for 4 meals and 2 cappuccinos (which at the end I refused to...

Ich war am Sonntag mit meinen Großeltern dort. Wir sind Stamm Gäste und kamen eigentlich immer gerne. Naja. Nach der Hauptspeise wurden wir gefragt ob alles in Ordnung gewesen ist worauf ich sagte, dass mir das Essen nicht schmeckte gerade die Soße schmeckte sehr bitter und verbrannt. Ich sagte aber außerdem, dass ich den Geschmack nicht ganz beschreiben könne, ich mochte es einfach nicht. Das Gemüse wäre aber ok gewesen. Danach bekamen wir die Dessert Karte mit einem frechen Spruch des Wirts, ich sollte nicht behaupten das das Essen angebrannt wäre. Daraufhin meinte ich, dass ich nie gesagt habe, dass das Essen angebrannt ist sondern das die Soße so geschmeckt hat. Er fing dann weiter an in einem frechen Ton mit mir darüber zu diskutieren. Wir alle waren erstmal irgendwie perplex, da es einfach super respektlos war und dies vorallem noch vor den anderen Gästen stattgefunden hat. Im Endeffekt, ist es meine Meinung, wenn mir das Essen nicht geschmeckt hat. Ich hätte es natürlich trotzdem bezahlt, weshalb ich mich auch frage, wieso man so einen Aufstand macht, wenn man mich vorher explizit nach meiner Meinung zum Essen gefragt hat.
