I have previously eaten food from Best Indian Restaurant before, both Dine In and Delivery. The recent Dine In experience however, was not up to the mark. The service was courteous and warm until we asked for a second serving of the complementary chutney they serve, which they informed would be chargeable. We felt a little off, but at least they were transparent on their policy which was good. After waiting for 8-10 minutes the food arrived. We ordered a mixed non veg grill platter as starter and Mutton Biryani and Raita as main course. But they served everything together which was the second point we did not like. The mix grill platter consisted of two small pieces of Tandoori Chicken, two pieces of Sheekh Kebab, two pieces of Chicken wings, two pieces of Chicken tikka, one piece of Prawn and two pieces of Lamb tikka, served with a bowl of Saffron Rice and some salad. Sheekh Kebabs were on the drier side. The Tandoori Chicken pieces were good, tikka pieces were a little chewy but still good enough to enjoy. I did not have the prawn since there was only one provided. The lamb tikka pieces were hard, chewy and the sheepish smell was so overpowering that we could not eat them completely. Then came the surprise, the Mutton Biryani was actually Lamb Biryani. The Lamb pieces had the same overpowering sheepish smell but softer than the tikka ones. The rice part of the Biryani on the other hand, was dismal. Someone who has had real Biryani would find it upsetting that after paying €20, they get this spiced up rice mixed with a few pieces of meat served as Biryani. The Raita was great, but chargeable. They served a complimentary bowl of Potato and Green Peas curry which was tasty and helped us fill our stomach with the rice as we could not finish the Biryani. On providing the feedback, they took it seriously and asked us if they could make it better somehow. We asked if the saffron rice and Potato curry can be arranged to be served again, to which they obliged to. They even asked if we wanted to have Chicken Tikka Masala but we refused as we were not feeling like eating any more meat for the day.
I hope they work on their menu list a little bit to indicate the contents of the items which the patrons are going to order. For instance, if we had known Mutton Biryani is actually Lamb Biryani, we would not have ordered it. The next thing is they should improve on the Biryani itself. Spiced up rice is not Biryani, in any cuisine out of India. If they can improve on these points, I'm still up for another visit to this place as I liked their courteous behavior...

Food was delivered half an hour later then given. Beside the delay, the delivery guy took half an hour for a 15 min ride. When the food arrived it was cold. The tandoori chicken was raw from the inside.
Some critical notes on taste as a desi food lover and born and raised. The naan was everything but naan, it was as thin as a chapati and chewy. No desi would ever say it is Naan. And asking 3.50 for such is crazy. The Aloo Mater was watery, no curry consistancy and lacking taste.
The Samosa chaat was good according to my wife, as was the Gulab Jaman (besides the overly strong taste of Elaichi (Cardemon). The one dish I can not argue on was the chicken tikka massala.
Overall bad impression for a first order (and last). Even after the notice of the raw chicken the owner kept silent. I had high expectations. But this is not the desi food as expected.
The bad delivery service made it worse from...
Read moreI ordered food for 40 euro's and recieved the Tahmaja Thai 1 person in very see through small plastic box the same one they serve salads in I ordered a butter chicken and recieved a big white plastic box and the Rice came in a small plastic white box (this is what i know they usually serve small portions in)
The food was tasty but for 18 euro's 1 person item you would except decent packaging and normal boxes and if they do not have purchase boxes yhat can have duo options which is more representable and can create a better delivery customer experience
I called and no one knew which boxes they usually serve deliver food in and they said this is what they always serve it in. Service Dissapointing as a...
