We do not understand the positive reviews. Both of us (my boyfriend and I) have had way more pleasant and tasty experiences elsewhere. It started when we entered the restaurant. We had a reservation, yes we were 10 minutes late, however they treated us like there was a big mystery going on and had to ask us 3 times if we had reservations, by 3 different people. There was hardly any eye contact going on, which I think is a big No No. First and foremost I think it’s important you greet guests with a big smile and make eye contact so that they feel welcome. You do not want to make them feel they made a mistake with the reservation or they made a mistake making the reservation at all. It’s all about making them feel welcome….right?!

The menu was literally a book, it had tons of pages with starters, mini bites, tandoori dishes, biryani’s, curry’s etc. etc. There is no way that all these dishes are freshly made in the kitchen when ordered. It’s just impossible to do so or this restaurant would not have made it passed the one year anniversary. I suspect that a lot of the dishes are from the freezer when ordered. There would not be a chef on this planet that would motivate this large of a menu.

And then this….what Indian restaurant doesn’t sell samosa’s? The only way we could order samosa’s was if we ordered a dish with a samosa covered with chaat. Which made us wonder….why would you not sell the samosa’s as they are (fresh, crispy and full of flavour) unless they are not sellable as is.

We had loads of leftovers and we wanted to take it home…which was possible, we only had to pack it ourselves on our small table🫣🙄. You can’t be serious….I thought they were joking, but they were not. Never ever in my life did I encounter this and neither did my boyfriend.

The two only positives were the mango lassis and the nice waitress.

I am not one that makes a fuss easily, but in this case I was so disappointed that I got motivated enough to make my point clear. I hope that this restaurant makes the improvements it needs: ‘make guests feel welcome, smaller menu, fresh foods’ and not let the reservations they have make them go blind for there lack of quality of service. I really hope they strive to be better, so that if they were to get competition they would have a...

The food was okayish: not bad but also not super good, have had tastier versions. However, given the relatively high prices the overall food score ends up low. Only thing I want to say is be aware that somehow they are able to serve dishes with the meat still raw/undercooked and somehow the English terms raw and undercooked were alien to the waiter we had so at some point I rephrased while showing him the pink slippery chicken to whether it is supposed to be that way and he answered with some illogical answer that the cooking method was tandoori. Well cooking method does not change the biological process that heating should always lead to denaturation of proteins and thus changing structure and color of meat...so cooked meat can never look that way besides the fact that the meat was close to uncuttable due to yes it being undercooked. But again discussions like this tire me since yes-no discussions always lead to nowhere unless someone acknowledges facts and the waiter was nice regarding all other service and such so I let it go for (mental) peace. But again if you are living on the edge or willing to verify the state of your dish and find the restaurant that good to take the risk to eat there it's fine. But for me it was the first and last time since I didn't find the dishes that good for it to be my last meal (ever) figuratively speaking. On the bright side I didn't die by food poisoning eventhough the...

Me and my spouse arrived and were immediately seated by the very hospitable and kind staff. The atmosphere was really authentic and peaceful, and we truly had a hard time picking from the menu since absolutely everything sounded so delicious! The prices were good, and we've went on with our order. First came the mango lassi, and upon sipping, I could imagine myself vividly in my head at the beach in Goa, with the light of sunset reflecting through the skyline silhouettes of bamboo huts and palm trees. It was then that I knew that we were really up for a very special treat. Afterwards came some kind of a deconstructed samosa. The samosa dish was built in such a way that in each bite, every flavor of any ingredient, including the different potent chutneys, would be felt. It was an absolute spicy goodness, and was a delight to dip with the garlic naan and papadam, which arrived with an abundance of tomato and onion salad on top. Afterwards we've had makhani dahl with real ghee! Was delicious as well, and served with such generosity that unfortunately we didn't have any room for desserts, which are probably divine as well. We feel very lucky to find such a wonderful restaurant with such an authentic experience, and greatly thank you for a wonderful romantic dinner, and for having the absolute best Indian food that I've ever had in my...

We visited Tummy treats just today. I like south Indian food there. I go there often to dine in. But this time I had a very weird experience. we ordered two dosas and they served little sambhar ( half of the small bowl) which was finished by the half of dosa I ate. And I requested for extra sambhar (again half of the bowl served). Later on when I paid the bill, I saw they charged 4 EURO for extra sambhar. Which was very surprising for me. The quantity of sambhar at first place they serve is really very less that you end up ordering one more. It is to me a clear loot. It's not about 4 euro but its about how can somebody be unethical to have 4 euros. On the below unapologetic comment by tummy treats here is my answer: let me be very clear about ordering two portion of extra sambhar. I ordered two dosas and I ordered 1 extra sambhar for each of dosas. Even a 8 year old kid finished the sambhar without finishing half of his dosa with quantity you served at first place. its about how little you serve and then Guest end up ordering the other one and you charge extra for another little portion. This behaviour can make the regular guest not to visit again.

A nice place on the outskirts of Amstelveen [Westwijk] with very nice food, full of flavour, but at an inflated price. With limited seating capacity, make a reservation to avoid disappointment, but if you live in the neighbourhood, you can enjoy this food via Thuisbezorg.nl If you live within a reasonable driving distance, you can place your order online then collect it yourself. Their menu is so extensive, it's a book, with so many dishes of which I'd never heard I needed assistance from the helpful staff to make a meal selection. - Sev Dahi Puri, a flavour rousing appetiser. - Masala Rava Dosa to ground the hunger. - Kolhapuri Chicken with powerful heat and spices. - Gulab Jamun as a sweet dessert. A 'Rose' milkshake (yep, you've gotta try it) kept the pallette neutral.

Not such a great restaurant as much as they promote on the instagram. They have great presentation techniques/skills on instagram, with which they pull customer for a onetime to the restaurant. The ambience is good, the service is faster, staff is super friendly and they have wide range of menu. The taste of the food was very normal(1out of 5). Every dish that we ordered lacked salt and spice. They promote heavily on seasonal menu (like holi special etc). We didn’t order that and we went for a la carte. We might not go next time again as the taste was completely disappointing😒
