Well hello there,
This is from one of the people unfortunate enough to be visiting your establishment.
First of all, I´m not in the least shocked by your reply. It was the same energy we felt in your restaurant, however short it was. If we needed a reservation, then perhaps, for future reference, you should inform your customers of this fact when they step inside and not place them at an unoccupied table (notice: unoccupied). Also, when customers address you in English, it´d be great to provide them with an English menu (Netherlands being one of the top countries in Europe in regards to speaking English). Moreover, a nice attitude and willingness to help is also required. The waiter we had didn’t do much to make us feel welcomed and I had to ask for the menus before it was brought to us. Instead of wasting your time being clever in the comment section, I suggest you take your staff to a charm school and perhaps teach him a little bit of knowledge about the dishes he´s serving other than the numbers on the menu. And oh, you think it is ‘unpolite’ to ask for a soup without coconut milk? I think it very impolite to roll your eyes at your customers and look like they are bothering you.
Secondly, as we didn’t make any comment about your food, but only the poor service we received, your reply doesn’t make sense. Perhaps Google translate that review again since you don’t seem to have a native Thai speaker in there. And since if you claim to do everything fresh, how come you can’t make a soup that takes less than 10 min to do? That’s literary what your staff told me- “then we have to make a new big batch!”. Nothing pre-made right? Thai food is more than just deep-fried stuff, which you are so famous for in the Netherlands and Belgium.
We do have the nerve to make a review that we feel you deserved and we did enjoy “the Chinese”, thank you very much. The waiters in there were very polite and actually knew something about what they were serving and not just given a number as if they were working at Mcdonald’s. I’m glad you found this whole thing to be funny because nothing was funny being a customer...
Read moreIn-line with some of the other reviews the service was not up to the mark. We had to wait 1 hour for starters which still were not served together and the spring rolls were frozen not home made as you would expect from a Thai restaurant.
Main course quality was overall good but it's Thai for the dutch pallete which is more sweet than spicy. Kids enjoyed their bami and nasi and the location is beautiful. We will try again and hope for a little better...
Ons...
