La Place — Restaurant in Apeldoorn

This is a self service restaurant. As soon as you enter you go to the right to select from sandwiches, potato salads, desserts or you can order freshly pizzas or noodle dishes. It has a very open an cozy vibe however there were flies inside the restaurant making it a challenge to eat.

They also have a kids menu where they get an animal themed mug, chocolate, fries and frikandel (minced meat snack). They can choose their drink (apple juice, fristi or chocolate milk).

When you use the restroom you pay EUR €0.50 each time per person. The machine gives you voucher that you can use for a discount when you buy food or drinks in the restaurant.

I did not like this place because we were not able to relax when eating due to the annoying flies at our table. We were with 5 people and most of the tables were for 4 seats so alternative sitting area for us was limited.

Foodprocessor is okay, but nothing 'great'. Staffing was the bad experience here. People self-cater and go to the till. On a regular Friday, around lunch time, it was reasonably busy. One till open, staffed with a person who also had to prepare coffees and other hot drinks. Another till unoccupied, plus a few self serve tills not operational. Queue growing, with some customers actually turning around and walk out. Then another staff member arrived back from lunch break. Really? Such bad...

Don’t go here! Very child unfriendly! We had to pay for the toilet, even for changing baby diaper. While we just had a whole family meal. Yes you get a voucher for discount but no one needs to pee before food! And then they only tell you at the cashier you can return only one voucher per bought item. We got one napkin each and had to pay if we wanted more napkins! No child seats anywhere... one sheet of toilet paper each time from the dispenser each time.. staff extremely unfriendly.....
