Lust Barendrecht — Restaurant in Barendrecht

Upon entering was greeted very professionally with great posture and service oriented person immediately saying welcome and good evening. The 5 stars go to Day-Me (that’s the pronounciatiin maybe spelt Daemi made fabulous recommendations when asked the beers were so promptly served by her team members: The consistent incredible service and the feeling we got that we truly felt we were home is thanks to seriousness and the way Daemi worked. The food was 4 and 5 stars so here are some improvements that can be made and what we ordered.

The beef steak already diced served in pepper sauce was absolutely 5 stars. Awesome

The minced beef served on a bed of super delicious crunchy French fries also 5 stars but I wish it was slightly bigger it was soooo delicious

The croquettes 5 stars they were really lovely.

Mini burger 5 stars

The bacon wrapped cheese with honey was 4 stars as I feel the bacon could be more crunchy it was whitish and too fatty and jellyish.

Cheesecake desert was delicious but it should not be called a cheesecake. The cookie used is way too sweet and the actual cheesecake which is more like a bouncy panacotta has no relation to cheesecake I am used to the tradition New York cheese cake which has an incredible texture. Wasn’t bad just didn’t match the description.

However thanks to our incredible service and the nice chef to come out and the great team work of the entire team working and helping each that’s what made this place so special.

Beers were perfect.

It was all great.

Thank you will definitely be back. I want to try to the onion rings next time.

Definitely my new favorite restaurant in Rotterdam.

Edit: second visit. No longer a la carte like the first time. Seems the portion size has decreased drastically. Quality-wise some dishes were a bit disappointing, a few were overly salty and heavy flavours drowned out the main ingredient (scallops for example).

First visit: Came here for a late dinner after a busy day and was pleasantly surprised. Had a warm welcome and were told to just have a seat and order whatever we wanted. Chose quite the variety of dishes and actually every single one of them was very tasty and unique in flavour. Most restaurants always have some less interesting dishes, but here everything was full of flavour. Only small improvement I could think of is that some portions are rather small (e.g. the chicken wings).

Zojuist gegeten bij dit restaurant. Maar ik zal zeker niet terug keren. Het eten was overigens lekker, wel klein qua porties. Maar de reden waarom ik 1-ster geef is vanwege het feit dat we gewoon letterlijk de deur werden gewezen omdat er weer nieuwe klanten kwamen. Vervolgens zagen we mensen zitten die ook in onze ronde zaten en die konden gewoon blijven zitten. Je kan niet zomaar gasten de deur wijzen omdat ze plaats moeten maken voor andere. Zo ga je niet met klanten om. Het personeel deed overigens wel goed haar best. Met name het brunette meisje.

Al werk je 25 jaar met dit soort shifts, blijkbaar vindt u het normaal dat je gewoon de deur wordt gewezen. Overigens lees je totaal niet wat er staat. Het concept is heus niet zelf bedacht, want ik ben zelf nog nooit in een all you can eat restaurant de deur gewezen, nadat de tijd is verlopen. Verplaatst je zelf eens in een gast, stel ik zou u bedienen. Wij bieden onze service aan en ik zie vervolgens de tijd is om, ik pleur die rekening onder je mik en ik zeg bedankt en tot de volgende keer. Voel je je dan ook met respect behandeld worden of niet ?

Ik zie steeds dat u in herhaling valt, het heeft dan ook totaal geen zin om dit aan te kaarten. En het feit is, dat jullie wel degelijk met jullie gasten omgaan op die manier. Ookal beweren jullie dat dit niet de...
