De Witte Stein — Restaurant in Beesel

We went to this restaurant due to the good reviews and because of the playground to satisfy my three year old grandson. Sadly we were very disappointed. The playground is very run down and while the little one still had fun, we did have some safety concerns. But it was the service that was most frustrating; we had to wait for quite a while to be served, we were not informed about items not available until we tried to order them and when we noted that we got fries instead of potatoes (as noted on the menu), we were first told it‘s the same in Dutch (not correct) and then that they will get new menus. Overall the menu offered little healthy options. Finally I was served my ribs with very old looking cucumber. 1.Ordered ice cream (wrapped)and had to ask 2. Times if we could get it so the kids eat together🤔 When we wanted to pay the bill couldn't be separated. It was really empty and there would have been enough time and service personal.
