Restaurant Review: 5 stars – Our go-to spot in Swalmen We’ve been coming to Mert5 for years and it’s always a highlight. Located in the quiet and charming center of Swalmen, it’s usually peaceful – unless there’s a local festival, which can make things a bit more lively and fun (or crowded, depending on your mood).

They also have a nice selection of craft beers, a bit on the pricier side, but worth it for the taste and quality.
The place is dog-friendly, which is always a big plus – our dogs are welcomed with a bowl of water and smiles.
