What a place 🤯 we would never have found it if it if our local friends didn't set the location for a farewell lunch.

This restaurant is literally in the middle of the woods, surrounded by trees, streams, brooks, and a lot of nature.

We were not familiar with Dutch pancakes and judging by their neighbor German cousin, the expectations was on the low end. What a pleasant surprise it was! Looking a lot like pizzas on a soft shell, they were delicious and filling.

We were there in summer and the place was naturally cooled with the breeze and songs of birds all around us. It left a lasting impression.

If you drive there, take it slow and soak the...

We would rate this restaurant a 6/5 if we could! From the lovely location (nestled amidst the Duivelsberg forest) to the classic Dutch ambience inside, the atmosphere was both warm and welcoming. And the food! There are more menu items than just pancakes, but I would suggest you go for their trademark. A nice variety between sweet and savoury, all are delicious and they are very generous with their toppings (and I mean VERY), and their hot chocolate with rum is not to be missed either for cool, Autumn-y weather. Servers were friendly and COVID precautions were evident, which was nice to see as well, but didn’t interfere with the whole...

Love this place at the top of the 'Devils Mountain'. Friendly people and great Dutch pancakes.

Lots of seats both inside and outside, even on colder days. And a huge nice terrace.

They do monthly special pancakes and they can be very nice. This months 'Topper' had dates and digs and nuts and was one of the better special pancakes I've had. The crunchy pistachios, almonds and walnuts go so well with their pancake dough.

A genuine pancake place that doesn't have that full on children restaurant vibe that most of them do. It's just nice and cozy and serves great food on a very...

A lovely spot in the forest with plenty of space — a great place to treat yourself after a hike. It’s better to plan ahead and book a table, as it can get quite busy. The menu is extensive: first you choose between sweet or savory, and then it’s hard to decide because everything looks tempting. A nice tip is to ask for the syrup in the old-style jug — it pairs wonderfully with the pancake filled with cheese, ham, and paprika. The staff were polite and attentive, and the service was pleasantly quick. A very enjoyable experience.
