We would rate this restaurant a 6/5 if we could! From the lovely location (nestled amidst the Duivelsberg forest) to the classic Dutch ambience inside, the atmosphere was both warm and welcoming. And the food! There are more menu items than just pancakes, but I would suggest you go for their trademark. A nice variety between sweet and savoury, all are delicious and they are very generous with their toppings (and I mean VERY), and their hot chocolate with rum is not to be missed either for cool, Autumn-y weather. Servers were friendly and COVID precautions were evident, which was nice to see as well, but didn’t interfere with the whole restaurant experience.

Love this place at the top of the 'Devils Mountain'. Friendly people and great Dutch pancakes. Lots of seats both inside and outside, even on colder days. And a huge nice terrace. They do monthly special pancakes and they can be very nice. This months 'Topper' had dates and digs and nuts and was one of the better special pancakes I've had. The crunchy pistachios, almonds and walnuts go so well with their pancake dough. A genuine pancake place that doesn't have that full on children restaurant vibe that most of them do. It's just nice and cozy and serves great food on a very inspiring spot.

This is not your averages pancake place... it's much better. In the frankly stunning surroundings, atop a hill in an old forrest, lies this great pancake place. Opportunities for walks, from the demanding trail runner, to a family with strollers or wheelchairs. The choice in pancakes is huge, from the classics, to the culinary. The changing specials really are especially good. It can get quite busy, but there is also lots of space. Perfect for a nice afternoon out.

We thought that the pancakes are crepe-thin! Oh, boy we were wrong. We ordered 3 pancakes just for the two of us but we're glad that the lady helped us to pack the rest. But overall, the taste was good! And they have a nice view. It is better to come there just before opening because it gets crowded during lunch time and we saw people need to wait before being seated. We also had a nice hike going there.

Well where do I start... I used to come around this restaurant ever since I could walk and never stopped coming here ! It's my favourite place to go to, for a walk and a delightful drink, for a family gathering with a festive pancake or just whenever I feel like craving their speciality 😋 I love the surroundings, I love their creations and I just love this restaurant! See you soon again

Truly amazing venue with authentic and creative menu...reasonably priced, what delicious pancakes they have in middle of woods ...a must visit venue if you are a pancake lover ...that double ginger dutch beer is also something refreshing after long walk. Great part is pets are very welcome and staffs are extremely dog friendly and shows warm gestures to dogs with treat etc..
