Oortjeshekken — Restaurant in Berg en Dal

We stayed here for our anniversary and we really enjoyed it. When we arrived, the staff were extremely welcoming and showed us to our room. The room was adorable and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the floor was heated. It's a bit of an older room so there weren't many outlets, and no TV, but if you're looking for a get away in the beautiful countryside, the TV won't be missed. The bathroom is minimal but was clean and had all we needed. I even forgot a hair dryer but we able to borrow one from the front desk. The breakfast was delicious and we were able to take a walk around the water right across the street, saw plenty of wildlife. All in all we really enjoyed our stay, although at least a two night stay would make it easier to take full advantage of...

We stayed for a weekend in this charming non- standard family hotel. ||It's situated in a very nice environment, right next to the river. The hotel looks quite old, and has a nice garden behind where our children could play and run. It looks really nice. It's very quiet, you are absolutely undisturbed. ||The hotel itself is quite OK, but atypical in its approach. Staff is friendly but not really customer centred. Breakfast was served in a very slow pace (Had to wait quite long), we were served dried fruits and some bread, but we couldn't get something else. The children were served some candies for breakfast which I found really odd. There was no yoghurt and cereals or something like that.||All in all OK, but I don't think I'll return for another...
