We stayed over an extended weekend here and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The hospitality was generous and warm, and the attention to detail really stood out.

Our room was spotless, not just cleaned but also mopped, which shows the high standards they maintain. When we asked for decaf coffee capsules, they generously gave us extra without hesitation. Small touches like that made a big difference. There is a fridge, a coffee machine, and teabags, TV and WiFi. Breakfast and dinner were the highlights. Though it’s not a breakfast buffet, we were served an abundant tray filled with yoghurt, muesli, fresh fruit, jam, chocolate sprinkles, and more. They brought a big bread basket with croissants, rolls, and slices of fresh bread. Eggs were made to order, scrambled, sunny-side up, omelette, and we could choose between various coffees (regular, decaf, cappuccino, latte macchiato) with unlimited refills. At €19.50 per person, it was great value and honestly kept us full through lunch. Dinner waa superb. We had the seabass, kipsate, ravioli, burger, and stoofpotje, and they were all delicious. Kudos to the chef!

Another great feature: they have a connection with a bike supplier, and we rented bikes through them, €38 for electric bikes and €13 for city bikes. Ours were delivered the very next morning, and we used them to explore Bergen, Egmond, and the beach. Everything was seamless and affordable, making our weekend even more enjoyable.

This hotel is just lovely. You will feel completely at home here. Visiting Herber Binnen feels like coming home to a friend, and borrowing their spare bedroom. The rooms are furnished in a rustic and cozy style.

All rooms come with a small backyard, which is a good place for a cup of coffee. If your room doesn't come with breakfast I would recommend paying for having breakfast. The breakfast is at your table, not a buffet. They bring you bread, croissants, toppings, coffee/tea and you can order eggs from a menu. It was a fine and cozy experience.

We stayed in this hotel for a weekend trip and used this hotel as our base for some cycling trips in the area. The welcome was very friendly and we could park our bicycles on our own terrace in front of the room, out of sight of passers-by. The rooms were spacious, new, clean and well equipped. Breakfast was served in the restaurant and was varied and generously sized. We also had a very pleasant dinner in the restaurant.
