Liberty Foodbar — Restaurant in Bladel

We were there for the first time today, and it was more by chance. What luck we were! Quote from my son: "That was the best burger of my life!" It was the Smash burger. I had the Korean Fried Chicken-Burger and was totally thrilled with the combination of sharp marinade and mild cucumber salad with red cabbage. We also liked the service very well. Due to a linguistic misunderstanding, there was a little delay in preparing the dishes. While this is often kept secret in other restaurants, the topic in "Liberty" would be addressed openly and personally. For us, the short delay (5 minutes) was not a problem and so finally only the great impression of a very well -lived service concept remains.

We didn’t expect such an urban place in a town like this, so we were pleasantly surprised. The food and portions are great. You can order lots of dishes to share, and there are a lot of vegetarian-friendly choices too.

The ambiance is nice as well. We sat outside on the terrace. One minus star for the fact that it is allowed to smoke on the terrace. It’s very disgusting when you’re trying to enjoy your meal, when the people right next to you are smoking without any consideration. It would be better if the restaurant allocates a smoking corner outside away from any...

Een leuk tentje wat betreft de aankleding, voor een drankje kan je goed terecht. Maar voor het avondeten ben je daar zeker niet op de juiste plaats. Begonnen met een carpaccio die helaas tegen viel wat de hoeveelheid betreft. (zomaar een karig bordje)

Als hoofdgerecht een "steak me harder" van de jodenhaas 300gr. gehad, er werd niet gevraagd hoe ik hem gebakken wilde hebben. Je krijgt een mooie houten plank met een doorbakken taai stukje steak ter grote van een doperwt. En dat voor 25 euro zonder friet of een ander benoemens waardig bijgerecht.(friet was los bij te bestellen voor 5 euro)

Inmiddels 34 euro verder en nog steeds honger. Als nagerecht de brownie gepakt, de brownie was ook niet om over te spreken. Dus voor 50 euro heb je drie gangen gehad en moet je de resterende honger stillen met 5 Hertog Jan Weizener.
