A very nice restaurant on an excellent location! Another big advantage - it is a dog – friendly one, on the terrace only, but still better than full ban. Thank you for this!

The atmosphere is very cozy, enhanced by the wooden furniture and dimmed lights. The terrace is wonderful, peaceful and pleasant. I have been there twice, once for a dinner, once for lunch. The service differs very much between these two times of the day/evening.

Dinner experience: The service during the evening is extremely good. Polite and attentive waiters, very delicious meals. The choice in the menu is not very big, however it offers pretty good variety of Italian dishes. There are vegetarian options as well. The antipasti plateau is amazing, the homemade fresh bread is served with pesto aioli and is highly recommended. The rest of the dishes were very delicious, except the pizzas, which didn’t match my taste – the crust is too thin compared to the stuffing. The tiramisu cake was fine, while the pannacotta wasn’t of the best performance as it was more liquid. The top of the evening was the homemade limoncello, which was really a delightful end of a tasty dinner.

Lunch experience: Maybe because the day shift was understaffed (there were only two waitresses for a pretty full terrace in a sunny weekend) the service could not meet the level of the evening staff. The menu cart is much shorter and with a minimal choice and just a couple of vegetarian options; no desserts, no pizzas, no menu for the drinks. As many have said, wait times are very poor. We had to wait more than one and a half hour for relatively simple dishes. Which I wouldn’t mind, if the food wasn’t so bland. With the limited selection of dishes available on the menu, you’d expect them to be excellent, right? Better some great dishes than a large range of lacklustre ones. Unfortunately this isn’t true here.

We were there with a party of six, and only some of us actually enjoyed the food. My pizza wasn’t cut (which is very annoying, as some other reviewers have noted) and the provided knife really wasn’t very good at doing so. I basically had to resort to ripping pieces from my pizza. Additionally, it was barely seasoned. Just a very thin layer of tomato sauce and cheese. Another member of our party had the lasagna, which can pretty much be summarised as a bowl of spaghetti sauce. She didn’t find it tasteful either.

At least the food wasn’t served cold, and the staff was friendly but the actual service was extremely slow. We were just five minutes from getting up out our seats and leaving out of frustration after waiting for nearly one and...

Helaas een negatieve ervaring voor ons. We gingen er naartoe op de laatste vakantiedag. Leuk even de vakantie afsluiten met een etentje. Mijn dochter van 4, man en ik. Vroeg gereserveerd, zo snel mogelijk besteld. Dochter van 4 moet op tijd naar bed voor eerste schooldag.

Bestelling: een fles spa rood een appelsap, een ice tea. Een broodje en 3 pasta's.

De mevrouw die later naast ons kwam zitten en bestelde had binnen no time haar pizza. Dat ging lekker vlot.

We zaten nog rustig dus niks aan de hand. Na een tijdje zijn we naar binnen verhuisd. Het meisje dat ons bediende kwam even het tafelnummer aanpassen. Verder vroeg ze niks, ik wilde nog wat vragen maar ze was meteen weer weg (zonder überhaupt interesse te tonen)

Na een tijdje sprak ik een andere ober aan, ik had het idee dat het vrij lang duurde, helemaal als ik nadacht over die mevrouw die naast ons haar pizza at en die lang en breed al afgerekend had. De ober zei dat er een grote tafel net voor ons was, maar dat hij even ging kijken. Een paar minuten later vertelde hij dat het eten in de pan zat. Mooi dachten wij, dan zal het er zo aankomen.

15/20min nog een keer aan het meisje wat ons bediende gevraagd waar het eten bleef en zei vertelde dat het nog doorgeklikt moest worden... doorgeklikt????? Het zat toch in de pan???? Toen ben ik boos geworden. En waarom doorgeklikt? Omdat we een broodje "vooraf" hadden???? We zaten al een half uur naar een leeg bord te kijken! Daarbij is ook niemand in die tijd komen vragen of we nog iets wilde drinken of dat het goed ging.

Nou de groeten dan maar. Aangeven dat we weg gingen. Om vervolgens bij het afrekenen (waar we weer moesten wachten) moeilijk te doen over het eten dat inmiddels bijna klaar was. Ja dag, we konden en wilden niet meer wachten, dochter van 4 moet ook op tijd naar bed. De groeten, nee we willen het ook niet meer meenemen!!

Ze wilde ons de hele rekening laten betalen....in plaats van ons te compenseren (waar we nog niet eens om vroegen maar de hele rekening laten betalen is vrij belachelijk, dit is uiteraard niet gebeurd). Dit alles door "miscommunicatie" zoals het zo schattig werd genoemd.

Ik ben er best wel een beetje teleurgesteld en verdrietig van.

Er wordt dus te weinig aandacht aan je geschonken en er wordt ook nog gejokt...
