Farm Terrace Jacobushof — Restaurant in Boxtel

So glad we visited this cafe which was a short cycle from our equally lovely campsite (Camperplaats Boxtel).

The cafe is so sweet, the staff were really friendly and attentive (happily gave us an English menu) there were loads of places to sit in the sun or shade or inside and the food was excellent!

Good prices and huge portions, we ate a lot! The beef stew was a highlight for me, so rich and packed with beef. The Brie sandwich was also superb, the chicken bites were crispy and still succulent and frankly we wanted to eat everything on the menu!

The place felt properly authentic and a great spot...

We had a very nice late lunch here, despite the rainy day. It is cozy and warm inside, the service was very friendly and nice, the bread is delicious and we loved the waffle! There's a window inside through which you can see the cows in the barn :) Our toddler liked it a lot. Chickens and cats outside were also a big hit. Toys, puzzles and couring inside to keep the little ones busy. Very enjoyable...

Top service 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 Expected a bit more on the menu card - simple food that one could easily have prepared. Bit too much mayo would be better as side dip. The carpaccio is more a pastrami. In general ok just missed the farm ambience. It is more a restaurant than a farm, the name irritates you to expect something different. 16€...
