La Hacienda Olivia — Restaurant in Curaçao

I visited this restaurant with my wife. As we walked in the ambiance was amazing and there was live music. Shortly after they asked for our drinks and apetizer order. Service was fast at this point. I had the carpaccio and my wife had the chorizo. The textuee of the carpaccio beef was meh. And the chorizo was kind of dry. And they dont give you any sauce. Then i ordered the picanha pincho and another round of drinks. The food arrived the pincho was 4 pieces of meat. The first 2 where great but the last 2 pieces where very very tough. Eventually we finish eating and the drinks still havent arrived. When i asked for the check i told the waitres about the beef quality and not haven gotten our drinks and she was abselutely impartial and didnt care. Which we found odd. Anyways wil go back with the kids for horseriding but def lacking on...

We had a nice dinner here in a beautiful setting. The service was excellent – the bartender/waiter was very kind and attentive. It’s also a very kid-friendly place: our kids loved feeding the animals and playing in the playground. Definitely a must-go if you have children and want to enjoy nature combined with dinner.

On the food side, there is some room for improvement. We ordered picanha medium-rare, but received it closer to medium-well. The taste was nice, but the skewers could be better prepared. The red wine we tried was also disappointing – it was very dry and not a good match for the meal.

Pros: friendly service, kid-friendly with animals and playground, great atmosphere. Cons: picanha not cooked as ordered, limited wine quality.

Went there last night. There was a great ambiente with a live band. Good environment. The people were great. The food had an excelente taste. The only downside was that it came out cold already. But they did there best to make up for it. So thumbs up for the effort. Update: Went there again on 7-2-'25 with a group of 7. It is still a nice place. This time there was no live music. The food was good. A couple of us did not get what they ordered. As happy as I was about the waiters the first time. This time it was the other way around. It definitely sucked.
