Pancake in the Park — Restaurant in De Bilt

Nice idea! But I do think this is mainly a great place in the warmer months. The acoustics plus kids are very intense. The plants are fake and the pancakes look better than they taste.

The staff of friendly and it's great there are vegan and gluten free options available. But there are a lot of kids running around and swinging on the swings. (Which is a nice gimmick!)

I think it's a great place if you have young kids and are desperate to have a normal conversation with a friend. The kids can play outside or inside and eat and drink sugar.

The food and some drinks look amazing and it's a very instagrammable place but I wouldn't choose this food again. The savory pancakes made me think, nice, but what are the pancakes doing there? Take those out and I'd eat it, and the sweet ones were super sweet and sugary.

Nice place when you're walking in the nature around there. It sounds very promising what they offer: organic flour and maple syrup (qualitative ingredients, great they do this! ). However, the menu doesn't indicate if the rest is organic or not, and what the ingredients of the vegan pancakes are. The taste of the vegan pancakes is not very good (dry), I guess because they don't use expensive almond flour, mashed banana or such. If you are looking for a vegan pancake, I'd rather go to Gys (all organic and delicious pancakes). Fuerther, not much choice when ordering, they could for example add extra maple syrup or fruit etc. Also, the classic pancake is very basic, a bit of red fruit, however no banana what I'd expect for a classic. For conscious eaters, the concept should be a adapted a bit....

The smashed burger, which supposed to be fully cooked was raw, like disgustingly raw, I couldn't even eat it(my boyfriend did). For 13 euro I was expecting better. The pancakes looks great but they are dry, and doesn't taste as good, as it looks. Huge disappointment. The place looks nice, but if you do not have kids be prepared, there will be many kids running around you and they are loud. Very loud. About the service: I haven't seen a singe person who looked older than 18-20, super young girls running around. The problem is that the food is also made by students (?), and clearly they learned how to make it look good, but they do not care about the taste...
