GRS Indian Kitchen — Restaurant in De Ronde Venen

FORMIDABLE!!!!! For the first time in years of trying different restaurants, our all time fav. Indian restaurant (Indian kitchen Amstelveen) finally has serious competition!!! Chicken tandoori and butter chicken for main course. Sheekh kebab and both samosa options for starters, raita and papadums as extra. Indeed the complimentary sauces are very fluid, but ohh SO tasty!!!!! The size of the portions were so that today (day after) we are still enjoying this most delicious dinner for the 2nd time. Flavours excellent!!! The samosa's were spicy, but I absolutely loved (!!!)them ( even though usually i cant handle spicy food very well). It was sooo lekker! Only disappointment were the papadums. They are key to excellent Indian food for us, and we prefer the ones with cumin seeds and not so much oil as these ones. Other than that everything was absolutely fabulous. Extra mention for the vegetarian side dish that came with the food. Some sort of beignets made w potato and chickpeas and various vegetables. If all vegetarian food was as tasty and incredible as this dish, I'd be vegetarian in a flash! Quite spicy but with the rice and raita the best vegetarian dish I ever tasted in my life (for real)!! Too bad we could not discover the name of it on the menu. [Edit: I found the receit in the paper bag. It was a chole samosa!!! Very very BIG recommendatuon!!!] Dispite the not so lekker papadums this will become our go-to Indian restaurant in the future!!! Keep up your excellent work...

Ordered last week for the first time i am an indian kitchen fan and have lots of experience. This place and their food is more than great, fresh, juichy and spices/ flavours to die for! quality but also quantity is fabuleus! 1 tip.. the papperdums with cumin are way beter.
