Bar Bistro DuCo Deurne — Restaurant in Deurne

Quite disappointing. Stayed at the fletcher kloosterhotel for 3 nights including dinner at Duco. The staff is friendly, but not up to speed. It takes long time before orders are served. The digital ordering system doesn’t work. Orders never come through. Dishes seem to fluctuate… I ordered dame blanche 3 days in a row and it had a different composition and ingredients every time. On our last day I ordered dessert for two. Only one order arrived. When I paid, no one even bothered to ask if all was fine. On the first day I had a plastic chip in my dessert. Instead of assuring me they took out the dessert to prevent others from consuming plastics they offered me a coffee or tea.

Most annoying was the fact they have smoke areas near dining tables and directly near the doors for entry and exit.

Sorry, so not recommended. No way I want to be the operational...

Don’t order a rib eye steak! The cut is not a ribeye cut. Sadly when we told the waiter he said that this is how they have done it for the last two years and that that is what they call a ribeye. I pulled out my phone and showed him a photo of a rib eye steak (Googling for images) and he still said this is what they do here.

Very disappointed with the food... will not come again nor recommend this restaurant to anyone. Well, maybe I would recommend Chef Ramsay to come and eat here to...

Vorige week in het kloosterhotel geweest en de eerste avond hier a la carte gegeten. Bijzonder was, in eerste instantie, al de bediening. Enthousiast, spontaan en op een leuke manier niet op hun mondje gevallen. Mijn vrouw had de Halloumi salade en ik de entrecote. (Rare) De serveerster moest lachen toen ik een jonge borrel bestelde. Sorry ik heb geen pokerface, maar meestal bestelt men die bij hapjes. Het ijs was gebroken. De salade was heerlijk. Mijn entrecote ook. De bijgeleverde garnituren waren ook heel goed. De tweede avond hadden we een voucher voor een driegangenmenu. Ook hier was de bediening ook weer heerlijk bijdehante ober. Geboren voor de horeca. Hij schonk aan tafel een goede borrel met kop er op. Vooraf pomodorisoep en Thaise curry soep. Hoofdgerecht sate Bali en fish and chips. Nagerecht beiden dame blanche. Alles was perfect en prima van smaak. Porties ruim voldoende en genieten van de sfeer die bediening schept. Dit alles was zo goed bevallen, dat we de derde avond hier ook zijn blijven eten. Ribs en wings en Ceasar salade. Deze avond waren beide jongelui van de vorige avonden er allebei. Hé zijn jullie er weer. Gezellig. Op het eten was weer niets op aan te merken.
