We were passing through Holland to Germany in the car when we stopped here yesterday about 8pm after our 22 month old son woke up in car. On entry there were some signs in Dutch stating the requirement to do a health questionnaire, show negative test etc but no one came to greet us. We had all our certificates with us for the trip so progressed in and made our order. None of the staff acknowledged us at any point. When our order was called, my husband came back to where I was seated with my son in the restaurant and told me a staff member had said we can't eat in the restaurant. At that moment a young male worker passed us and I asked if we could at least allow our son to eat there at the table and we would keep our masks on. He was very polite and said sure no problems. Less than 2 minutes later a mid-20s brown haired woman with tightly tied back hair and a floral mask came rushing at us yelling 'WE ALREADY TOLD YOU YOU CAN'T EAT HERE! YOU NEED TO LEAVE THE STORE NOW!'. I said I'm sorry, why are you coming here screaming at me when I have my baby in my arms? Your colleague already said our baby can eat here and we have our masks on? She then very loudly started saying she wasn't screaming and that we were breaking the law, that the government says no one can eat in restaurants. I said that's fine, but no need to be so aggressive and also maybe you should explain that to customers AND your staff and put out a notice so it's very obvious. Not everyone comes from the Netherlands and would know this. She then started dragging our high chair away repeating that we needed to leave and saying that she would take our meals (which we hadn't touched) to dispose of them as her rubbish bins were already emptied. I told her we would be taking our meals and also informing head office of her rude behaviour - she stormed off and shouted over her shoulder that they will support her. So we ate somewhat shellshocked our meals in the car, and went to use the toilet to change our baby afterwards and they locked us out! They literally locked the doors on us so we couldn't come. A young staff stays talking with friends sabotaging his task more than 10 mins and more than 5 times back and forth during we were waiting for the food. It looked a playground. No colleague warned him what he have to do during working hours. It’s pity. A wrong younger generation is raised by the wrong elders. Moreover, he is enthusiastic to save papers. Or has special discriminative idea. He didn’t bring any paper with food. I know these days MacDonald is saving papers but I’ve never experienced none. Actually all the other people eating there was brought some on the plate with food. Why did he skip it only for us?
Actually, our order was postponed intentionally two times after we noticed. Our number never show on the screen - looks someone delete our order. He the boy on the floor playing with his friend keep ignoring two times. Surprisingly.

Is toch een kleine moeite en niet teveel gevraagd hopelijk om gewoon te vragen WAT iemand er te drinken bij wil in plaats van "Wilt u Frietsaus en Colabij?
Ik zei dus netjes nee. Want dit wilde ik niet.
Waarop heel gedoe volgde, want ik wilde ER wél Frietsaus bij. Maar in plaats van de Colabij wilde ik graag gewoon Fanta te drinken, zonder Bij alsjeblieft. Snapte ze niet... Terwijl ze er zelf over begon. Daarna kreeg ik nog netjes m'n kleingeld terug,bovenop m'n briefgeld Zonder terug te tellen.
Zo is het haar geleerd legde ze me uit, nadat ik haar probeerde uit te leggen dat dat niet zo praktisch is.
Medewerkster was verder netjes, fris,verzorgd en correct zoals het hoort.
Friet was lekker en heet, m'n burger was ook top , Fanta verfrissend. Vandaar 3 sterren.
Maar train de mensen iets beter. Leer ze hele zinnen maken. En duidelijk vragen stellen. Één vraag tegelijk is handig
Ik ben gewoon een gast/klant die trek heeft. Ik wil gewoon wat te eten en drinken. En mn geld normaal terug in m'n portemonnee kunnen stoppen.
En ik ben echt een voorstander van de Bijen maar gewoon de...
