Ora Restaurant & Cafe — Restaurant in Drechterland

Never again! Terrible service, tasteless food, long waiting time. You need to wait min. 30 minutes /order. On that way is not all you can eat max all they can prepare. We missed a couple of things from our order or we already forgot what we ordered because you have to wait that much between two orders. The sushi box has 2 pieces of sushi... The amount and the taste of the food is ridiclous not even enough for a child. The service is awful too. The speed of the staff is slower than a snail. We were there with a voucher what my wife got for a birthday gift... If you are there with voucher the drinks are not including what they forgot to say. So we decided to go home after 1,5 hours. Than I asked should we pay something else? And.... Yes, the drinks! In that 1,5 hours we could have 3 orders... I had to eat at home... Don't go there, don't waste your time and money for that "restaurant". I don't speak netherlands very well,but what I understood from the other tables next to us not we were the only guests who were not satisfied with that...

We found this restaurant during a roadtrip, but they hadn't opened yet. As we looked inside someone opened a side door to admire our cars and told us that they would open later in the afternoon, but that some of the kitchen staff where already there, so if we wanted we could come in and have some lunch. We where hungry and went in, no expectations. But wow, very friendly people, family I guess, they quickly set a table for the 5 of us. And the food, amazing! We ordered different dishes like sushi🍣, duck and what not. Everything was really well prepared an delicious. Absolutely...

Op valentijnsdag kwamen wij sinds de overname voor het eerst hier weer eten, tegen beter weten in, de verhalen waren niet best maar wilde het toch zelf beoordelen. We kwamen er vroeger heel veel bij de oude eigenaar. Zag afgelopen jaar het onkruid hoog voor de ramen staan en het trok me totaal niet! Bij binnenkomst om 18.00 was het behoorlijk leeg en heel sfeerloos. Kaarsjes waren uit op elke tafel, ook de bezette overigens. Zelf gevraagd of ze hem aan konden steken. En dat voor valentijnsdag🫣 Toen de gerechten op tafel kwamen kwam ik er achter dat er geen stokjes op tafel lagen voor de sushi die toch echt op de kaart staan, geen wasabi of gember… stokbrood werd geleverd met plastic bakjes kruidenboter die je zelf van plastic folie moest ontdoen (goedkoopste variant die je kunt vinden).

Gerechten zijn smaakloos, lauw, werd er een beetje misselijk van. Alles lijkt van de meest goedkope variant gemaakt te zijn, zelf de brie heeft geen smaak… Bediening is dramatisch slecht, gerechten werden nog net niet op je tafel gesmeten en ze lopen met een karretje dat een oorverdovende herrie maakt.

IJs was zelfs smaakloos, pistache en mango smaken bijna hetzelfde🤔

Toen ik moest afrekenen (all in prijs) moest ik ineens de thee apart afrekenen, die hoorde niet tot de drankjes van de all in prijs? Serieus?

Voor mij is deze plek helaas geen vaste stek meer, geef mijn portie...
