Grieks restaurant Parthenon — Restaurant in Echt-Susteren

Now, if I want to explain our experience at the Parthenon in one word, there's only one word .... GREAT. We were looking for a replacement Greek restaurant for the favourite one we'd been to more than 600 times but due to down-turn in the quality over the last couple of years, combined with regular high price rises, we eventually fell out of love with it and needed to find a new one. . Usually having problems finding a new nice restaurant we went to the Parthenon with limited expectations ..... but we left KNOWING we'd found a great restaurant. . Firstly the venue itself looks very good .. there was a very friendly reception and a good ambiance. Looking at the extensive menu, seeing so many nice looking options it was difficult to choose. However after making our choice, even though the restaurant was completely full, our first plates came almost immediately. When our main plates came, we thought .. OMG ... that tastes NICE. The spicing was spot on ,, well cooked and the Greek potato's were really to die for. Service was very quick and attent. We left the Parthenon with a really good feeling, both in mind and stomach, not remembering when we'd had a nicer meal. I really tried hard to find any minus point .. and eventully found one.. the ouzo could be colder. Whow if that was all I could find... all I can say is. well done Parthenon, you've got a new...

This restaurant is well worth a visit, it has recently been totally refitted with a modern but traditionally Greek style. The food is excellent and the price is very good. I had a cod dish that was served on a bed of salad. The meal was well presented and their friendly service was second to none. English is spoken so you will not have any problems with your order. The drinks menu consists of a variety of greek and local beers and spirits. If you plan to stay in or around Echt this is a restaurant you should not miss. You will not be...

Service and Quality at the highest level! I've been there twice in two days, and I'm happy what I've found.

You should call there and make a reservation first. I didn't but I could Reservate for later that evening. Staff and Waitress is very friendly and the food is fresh, good cooked, not too spicy und the whole menu is flexible.
