REVIEW OF LONG TERM RESIDENT.......
If you are hoping for a quiet weekend break don't get your hopes up as you may be a little dissapointed!! Very loud private bar parties go on until the early hours giving no regard to residents or districts laws.. And if you would like a beer on a Friday evening after a hard week at work and there's a party going on forget it, you ain't invited!
On site you will find no shop and a lengthy drive to find one if it's open, no gym, no sauna etc etc.... a bar where you are not allowed to drink if indeed it's open at all, a fee to dispose of your rubbish, a hefty fee for intenet if you use more than one device per chalet (famalies beware! if you have more than one device between you or if your kids play games on a playstation or x box it's 10 euro per device. And that's just for starters!)
My experience is as follows!
My first room here was filthy, poorly decorated and had soiled bedding on the other single bed.
I used to wake in the middle of the night close to suffocating due to the poor ventilation in the room so I had no choice but to sleep with the window open in the middle of winter which was a touch unpleasant and exceptionally cold. Another contractor and also a visiting friend had an identical experience!
The tiny fridge doesn't close properly and the freezer box was full of ice ( I have fixed the problem )
Even more unpleasant are some of the staff and especially the bar manager. They are very rude and aggresive to foreign long term residents whilst others steal your property whilst you are away on a Christmas break which is pretty awful to come back to after a very long drive! This particular incident has been reported 3 times now and absolutely nothing has been done about it.
After one earlier mentioned party and also after very little sleep with an early start at work beconing I was woken once again by a glass breaking. On further investigation I found a partygoer urinating on my car which according to staff is fine as everyone was drunk! (I may have to rethink my moral conduct as I thought that was pretty loathsome) I didn't say much but did put him off balance a little so he ended up urinating on himself which was fairly amusing in fairness lol ;)
A couple of the bar and restaurant staff are however very pleasant and helpful (Emma thank you for your help) but even taking this into account I would still give a zero star review if I could! And return?...
Read moreOur visit to Rita’s Restaurant was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed, and the service throughout the evening was outstanding.
The food was an absolute delight – every dish was thoughtfully prepared and tasted incredible. The ingredients were fresh, the presentation was beautiful, and the menu offered something for everyone.
The ambiance was just as impressive: stylish, cozy, and designed with great attention to detail. It was the perfect combination of fine dining and a welcoming atmosphere.
We highly recommend Rita’s and can’t wait to come back for another...
Read moreStaying on site (which is lovely) but had a laughable meal in the restaurant last night. Firstly, the food was good but I’ve never seen such chaotic service. The poor staff were being constantly sent out with food for wrong tables and some people were waiting 2 hours for starters. Luckily we were nearly first in so only had to wait 1.5 hours for mains. Other tables were in despair and openly laughing, I even heard one man ask the waiter if he could phone through for a pizza which I don’t condone but that was the state of things. Someone let the poor waiters down and I hope they...
