Café d'r Pley — Restaurant in Eijsden-Margraten

The food was very very good. The waitress was very unfriendly. We arrived at 19:40. We could only choose from the main menu, cause the kitchen closes at 20:00. We ordered with the food a carafe with water. That was NOT possible, only bottles with water. No problem, but strange that the table near us got a carafe with water. At 20:20 people came for 2 cups of coffee. They got refused, cause restaurant wad closing (there was no sign where you can see the closing time) but 3 tables were still eating and drinking. Located in the center of the picturesque village of Noorbeek, Cafe Pley has definitely been one of our favorite places for a nice Limburgse meal. With a generous selection of the local Belgian beers, the restaurant offers a pleasant view of the Sint Brigidakerk in an otherwise quiet square. We thoroughly enjoyed our Konijnebout (rabbit leg stew) and Parelhoen (guinea fowl) with a healthy serving of steamed veggies. Highly recommended, we will be back again...
