Restaurant Breakaway — Restaurant in Eijsden-Margraten

I worked in the kitchen of this restaurant and I genuinely want to warn anyone considering eating there. The restaurant has numerous hygiene and sanitation violations. Here’s my perspective from the inside:

Your soup may be reheated in a stinky microwave because it hasn't been cleaned in a week and has rotten leftovers and food splatters in it. Because the kitchen is understaffed, dishes are often washed very poorly and often served to guests still greasy or with leftover food stuck to them. Dried sauce or soup stains are wiped off with an old cloth that’s been used all day for various tasks.

Because there’s no proper food labeling system, spoiled tofu was once served to customers… And your “fresh healthy juice” was squeezed two days ago and is sitting in the fridge without a lid.

As someone who’s seen the behind-the-scenes reality, I would never recommend this restaurant to my loved ones and I hope more people become aware of what’s...

Guys! Just to let you know, my wife and I visited last year around the holidays. During our stay in Maastricht we actually went to your place twice. My wife had the Oesterzwamburger and I had the Zoer‘ Vleisj‘ meet en twist. It was so good, that it had us wanting to come back this year from Karlsruhe, Germany. Don‘t think we will make it this year, but know that you left a lasting impression. Keep up the good work...

Really poor ! First they try to refuse a wheelchair inside. 😳 When inside It's really unpleasant loud when they prepare coffee or other drinks And SO expensive 😔 I am ashamed what the charge all of the tourists who mostly coming here.
