Restaurant The Grill Company — Restaurant in Emmen

We visited The Grill Company with a group ranging from small children to adults, and overall we had a lovely evening. One of the big plus points is the dedicated kids' play corner. It's slightly set apart from the dining area.

The buffet is very extensive and well-maintained. There’s a wide variety of meats, vegetables, sauces, and side dishes, and everything is replenished regularly. We were seated right away thanks to our reservation, and the staff were friendly.

That said, considering the price point for an all-you-can-eat concept, we expected a bit more in terms of service. Drinks and fries were brought casually, and no one came over to check in or offer more throughout the meal.

The biggest downside was the heat: the restaurant was extremely warm. It didn’t help that the grills at cleared tables were left on, which added unnecessary heat to the space. While there was a door and window open, and the option to step outside, the temperature inside was uncomfortable and really impacted...

A reminder to myself. We come to this park once in a few years, but I seem to forget that the concept op this grill restaurant is just not my thing. Most of the meat is marinated and too salty. It takes ages before it's cooked well, the kids start getting bored and I get tired of waiting.

So maybe this is just not the concept that everyone can enjoy.

Meine Familie war vom 28. Juli bis zum 7. August im CenterParc Sandur und während unseres Aufenthalts, waren wir täglich zum Frühstück und mehrfach an den Abenden zu Gast in „THE GRILL COMPANY“!

Wir haben den zuvorkommenden Service sehr genossen und uns jedes mal auf neue auf Frühstück gefreut! Das morgendliche Buffett lies für uns kaum einen Wunsch offen! Ob Spiegel- oder Rührei, Bacon oder Würstchen, Wurst oder Käse, Joghurt Quark und Müsli, Pancakes für Klein und Groß es ist für jeden was dabei! Auch die Getränke lassen von Kaffee und seine vielfältigen Variationen über eine Tee und Saftauswahl keine Wünsche offen!

Während unsere abendlichen Besuche hat uns auch dieses „Buffett“ abholt, ob Rind, Schwein, Geflügel oder Gambas und Riesengarnelen die Auswahl ist riesig. Burger und vegane Grillspeisen finden sich ebenfalls und für die Kleinsten sind die Pancakes, Würstchen und die Pommes auf jeden Fall etwas 😉. Das Beste kommt bekanntlich zum Schluss und so war die Auswahl aus den sechs Eissorten am Eiswagen nie leicht.
