I wish we did not have such an unpleasant experience! My family and I were visiting the area, and we decided to eat here because the special looked and smelt really good. Once we sat down, it took a long time for anyone to come take our drink orders and we didn’t have any menus. While we were waiting, we looked at the menus online and decided what we wanted to eat. When our drinks came, the waiter brought menus, and we said we already knew what we wanted to eat but she replied “Oh I’ll just let you browse and come back later”. So even though we already were ready to order and had communicated that, we were left waiting another 45 minutes to order. Finally we placed our orders, and then almost 30min later the waiter came to tell us that the special was sold out 30min ago! (The special had actually been sold to the table right next to us - who were seated after us. There was another table who also came in and ordered and left before we did). So after waiting nearly two hours we go our food — and it was cold and the portions were very small.

When we paid, the waiter apologized for the long wait but was was most upsetting was the lack of communication and transparency during the evening. If you are super busy, tell us so we know. And please don’t sell out the special and serve tables who sat after us first.

Overall the food was mediocre, the wait was long, and the customer service was poor. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this...

friendly people, a nice restaurant downstairs, nicely decorated rooms, free hotel parking. A nice neighborhood for an evening stroll.

Small suggestions for improvement: put on the heating in the room prior to arrival of the guests (it was cold..), add a light on the desk for working in the evening, explain that to get more light in the room you need to press longer on the main light switch. Empty the air out of the radiator in the bathroom of room 19...

My sister and I visited this place tonight for a drink and an evening snack, and we were thoroughly impressed. Everything, from the interior design to the service, exceeded our expectations. We ordered a cheese plate and some cocktails, all of which were delightful and of excellent quality. The servers were very attentive, quick, and always had a smile on their faces.
