Hotel Restaurant Keizersberg — Restaurant in Gemert-Bakel

We went here for a quiet weekend and this was exactly what we've got. The location is in the triangle of three bigger cities but with only open fields in the surrounding. The staff is exceptionally friendly and took good care of us. The room was basic but with a big kitchen attached with all facility's like a refrigerator, dishwasher etc. The beds were big and the bathroom was big enough for 1 person at a time with shower, toilet and sink. Dinner was good. We had a meat plank to start with and schnitzel as a main course, good food from local businesses. Breakfast was plentiful with cereal, (chocolate and regular) milk, fruit, freshly made orange juice, bread, cheese, meat and sweets. Would recommend for a business stay and for a quiet weekend out. Stayed at this wonderful place on the weekend of a fab music event called the rockabilly Roundup in nearby Del Mortel and this was perfect to recharge our batteries despite the short distance to and fro..have to thank the lovely staff who we couldn't fault at all.. couldn't do enough for us from serving us late lunches to helping with hiring bikes for us use and we wanted to stay longer but work commitments were in the way.. would def recommend to stay as rooms were lovely and well decorated throughout ..food was gorgeous and service was great too. Would like to thank Helme I think her name was as so helpful and friendly and robin and Rob in kitchen..all very helpful and thank you for making our weekend go smoothly. Will be back without question....
