We enjoyed 3 nights at this hotel before moving on to Hannover. The room was modern and clean and comfortable. Have never come across the Velux window opening up into a mini balcony before! Would agree about the comments of the rooms being on the top floor and under the eves. In order to use the chairs in the room, I had to move them out from under the slant of the roof. The bed was very comfortable. Good shower. Towels were a bit on the thin side, but they still did the job. The swimming pool was a treat for us and we enjoyed having a swim after a walk. You do need to bring your own towels. It was a bit of 'trial and error' to get through the changing rooms which are in the 'basement' and then going upstairs into the pool. It was all worth it. ||Lots of choice for breakfast. We thought the food in the restaurant was also very nice. Can thoroughly recommend the spare ribs. Marinated, cooked 'sous vide' then grilled....sooo tender and full of flavours. I tried to do the Masterchef taste test and failed! If you go for the a la carte menu, all dishes come with chips and a salad. ||All the staff were friendly and helpful. ||Lots of walks right on the doorstep. Loved listening to all the birdsong. ||Only negative comment I have is about the steepness of the steps up to the rooms, but there is a wheelchair adapted lift. ||A very...
