Evergreenz — Restaurant in Gennep

Had a fantastic evening here! We've found food in general to be expensive on our holiday in the Netherlands and Belgium, not only within Center Parcs but outside too, so thought although the all you can eat seems expensive it would be worth it. There was a huge range of food and most of it was really pretty good, only a couple of things missed the mark. The children (and I) were very excited about the dessert options. We are a family of 2 adults, 2 children and each had a starter, 2-3 main courses, and 2-3 puddings, boys had say 3 soft drinks each and myself and my husband crammed in 5 beers each, and it was £102 at our current GBP exchange rate. The food was not gourmet as it is an all you can eat but it was well cooked and tasty and much better than I was expecting, so I would say it was very good value. It is incredibly family friendly with a climbing play area, colouring table, books, toddler area, which the boys made use of towards the end of the meal when they'd finished but we were still trying to fit a bit more in! The restaurant overlooks the lovely center parcs grounds so is a really nice place to spend an evening. Would highly recommend to anyone who likes a big meal and drinks with...

This place does not deserve the many negative reviews in my opinion/ based on my visit. Food selection was quite OK, all food that was meant to be warm was warm, quality of food was also fine (remember you're in a buffet restaurant). For example the spare ribs were nice, the fajitas that you could built yourself were tasty, I had a steak which was surprisingly well cooked (medium rare, but warm). Beer, wine etc... all fine. Few starters that were tasty, large selection of desserts but also some cheeseboards. Spent 80 euro with two kids and 1 adult. Some people apparently consider that expensive, but compared to average prices in NL, I don't...

All-in diner bij het restaurant evergreenz

Ten eerste wil ik zeggen dat ik niets in deze review naar de werknemers richt, die werken erg hard en zijn erg vriendelijk, hou dat zo, dit is erg fijn namelijk. Het restaurant heeft echt veel meer sturing nodig, er is te weinig personeel of mensen weten niet wat ze moeten doen. Buffet is niet mega uitgebreid, maar als het eten goed was kon het ermee door. Helaas was dit niet echt het geval. De biefstuk zoals in de foto's te zien was gewoon nog rauw, en kan eigenlijk echt niet zo geserveerd worden, en de vis was goed gebakken, maar lag een soort na te garen op een bakplaat, waardoor de vis een aangekoekte laag kreeg, erg jammer. Dit alles voor een prijs van €34.50 per persoon vind ik gewoon niet kunnen, en ik hoop dat door deze review de kwaliteit van het restaurant omhoog kan worden gebracht, want dit kan gewoon een goed restaurant worden. Wat ik ook nog even wil vermelden is dat overal de corona maatregelen werden doorgevoerd. Van voorgerechten vooraf ingepakt, naar de hoofdgerechten die voor je werden opgeschept.
