The wagyu was a true standout, paired beautifully with pak choi that brought out its flavors without overpowering them. Similarly, the varkenshaas was cooked to perfection, tender, flavorful, and deeply satisfying. These dishes embody the upscale experience the restaurant aims to provide and set a high bar for other offerings.
However, not all dishes hit the mark. The spring roll, for example, lacked balance; the sauce felt unintegrated with the flavors, and the filling needed more vegetables to create a fresher, more dynamic bite. Similarly, the carpaccio fell short, being served too cold and feeling like it was cut straight out of the refrigerator or pre-cut and prepared.
The service team, while friendly, needs better training to match the restaurant's ambitions. Small missteps, like reaching over a sofa to grab items or handing guests a hot plate without warning, detract from the overall dining experience. These are easily avoidable issues that, when resolved, could elevate the sense of refinement in this concept.
For an upscale establishment, the practice of reusing cutlery feels out of place. While it’s understandable given the scale of operations, swapping cutlery between hot and cold dishes or after a few rounds would make for a more polished dining experience and contribute to the sense of luxury.
The restaurant concept (where Unique) offers glimpses of greatness, with certain dishes standing out as memorable highlights. However, inconsistency in food quality and lapses in service detract from the overall experience and could easily be improved.
Definitely would come back to give it...
Read moreFor an all you can eat concept which tries to give a fine dining experience I think the concept mostly worked. Don’t expect the food to be an experience for your taste buds like some fine dining restaurants are but just nice food presented in a fine dining way. Also the time is plentiful to try many dishes. We didn’t even make it the full 3 hours as we felt we had eaten enough. And we can be quite big eaters. All we had tasted from nice to very nice. The items to choose from are nothing too complex, it’s all fairly straightforward. If you’re used to fine dining restaurants this could be a let down foodwise. If you’re used to regular all you can eat buffets then this is an amazing experience. So really depends on your expectation. Staff was friendly, service was nice. The little robots serving feel a bit gimmicky but they actually help staff and it’s fun to see. If you compare all we ate and could have eaten more versus what we paid it was value for money. What made no sense at all was to pay a supplement of 5 euros extra for the dessert. We did take it and it was delicious but we had enough time to take at least two dishes extra which we didn’t take which would have costed more than that dessert most likely. I rather have them raise the price of the arrangement with 5 euros and include it than having to pay that on top. Feels a bit poor on an overal more luxurious feeling experience. The location is big and fit many people but because of the set up it still felt a bit intimate. That was a nice detail I...

You get 3.5 hours to "eat as much as you can", and for every half an hour after that you pay extra. To start with some positives, this old golf clubhouse was renovated very nicely, and the atmosphere within the dining hall is very modern and looks good.
They use robots to drive around the food that every table orders, which makes the vibe a bit more relaxing as there are not really any waiters running around the clock. (They do need to pick up the food from the robots to serve it to you)
There's a broad assortment of foods on the menu, and most of them are fine or OK. There were only a couple of dishes that really stood out to me, being:(Calamari / Ossenhaaspuntjes / Crème brûlée).The sauces that come with dishes are sometimes quite bland. You get charged extra for some "expensive" items which is a shame but understandable to some extent.
With a group of 8 the kitchen does sometimes take a while to get ordered items ready, which led to a lot of waiting for our first hour and a half.
Another downside is that the kitchen has a closing time. So making a reservation for later in the evening is not worth it.
A waitress also called one of my friends a boomer while he was 23.
All in all had a great experience and...
