Heidecafé de Strabrechtse Heide — Restaurant in Heeze-Leende

Perfect for a day out in the nature with your family! We went there with our two little boys (2 and 4 year old) and it was amazing experience for both of them!

Got a nice cup of coffee from the cafeteria at the beginning, had an interesting walk through the forest where we saw a lot of bugs, birds and nice insect hotels and the route naturally returned us back to the parking spot!

Definitely recommended and worth it for a nice day in the nature, suitable for people with young or older kids, older people (wheelchair accessible too) or even for those who have a dog - of course, bringing it on a leash :)

Also suitable for a bike ride, with a lot of nice routes...

The Heidecafé de Strabrechtse Heide has improved substantially over the last few years. The quality of the food now is on par or better than most cafés in the region. The service is good, and the staff are very friendly. The location is fantastic if you are trying to get out of the busy city and a bit closer to nature. I can definitely recommend combining a lunch here with a nice stroll through the Strabrechtse Heide with family or friends. I really liked the service, smiley and kind ladies, we ordered 2 cappuccino and 1 min later it was ready in our table, super fast! I loved both exterior and interior. What I liked in exterior surrounding with nature, far away from city center, and even from village, and if you walk a bit next to there, u will find a place where u can see goats, little ponies. It’s called De Rulse Hoeve. And in interior I liked that they used natural elements, such as woods. If u like rural, serene environment this is a great place to have a coffee or meal.
