Boscafé de Zweef — Restaurant in Heumen

The "Boscafé de Zweef" is a really interesting place to go. We visited by chance while walking through the nearby heath in the morning and I really would like to see this place in the evening. First impressions when entering the grounds: this place is pretty big, ok ... someone a lot of ideas and tried to bring them all to life or ... this is a cool place to be :) We just stopped for a good cup of coffee and a little snack but the whole atmosphere of this place is somehow different, cool, hygge. Staff is there to help, but not in a rush. The team is very creative if it comes to the snacks, providing interesting combinations of ingredients all of them looking good and really tasty. Helaas heb ik mijn bestelling vandaag teruggestuurd. Voor €16,90 verwacht ik echt dat ik krijg wat op de kaart staat. Een gepocheerd ei hoort toch echt warm te zijn met een vloeibare dooier. De versie die ik vandaag kreeg was al tevoren bereid, duidelijk bewaard in de koelkast, en werd als een koud gekookt ei geserveerd bovenop mijn ene sneetje brood met zalm en avocado. Het leek net een koud stuiterballetje zoals het geserveerd werd, ipv als een gepocheerd ei zoals op de menukaart beschreven staat. De locatie is top, bediening echt erg vriendelijk. Ze vonden mijn klacht oprecht vervelend maar wisten oprecht niet wat een gepocheerd ei was. Mijn goed bedoeld advies is om de kok te leren hoe het bij de groothandel kant&klaar ingekochte gepocheerd ei ter plekke klaar gemaakt moet worden (2-3 min werk) zoals het hoort. Of anders de beschrijving bij het broodje zalm en avocado op de menukaart vervangen in "koud gekookt ei". Tevens tip om wat boter erbij te serveren om het tweede, totaal onbelegde, sneetje brood dat ernaast lag nog te besmeren. Dat kreeg ik toen ik er zelf om vroeg. Een andere gast met volgens mij dezelfde bestelling vroeg vervolgens aan mij of ik ook wat boter voor haar had (ik heb haar een kuipje van mij gegeven). Ik heb daarna wel genoten van mijn nieuwe bestelling, brood met kroket. Daar kan weinig...
