【This restaurant is racially prejudiced and discriminatory】

We find the unjustified assumptions of Restaurant de Polderei in Anna Paulowna discriminatory:

You claim your suspicion of me when I entered your restaurant;

You claim your suspicion of us seeking a free meal started when we asked “do you have something ready for take-away?” (we made it clear to you: our train would leave in 40 minutes);

You claim your suspicion of us being unable to pay for our dinner when we discussed “should we order a salad too to share?” (we mentioned nothing about two people sharing one main course, instead we talked about ordering three!).

We find the discriminatory conducts of Restaurant de Polderei in Anna Paulowna intolerable:

You claim “we Dutch people” don’t fall for your “deception” (instead of taking the unknown substances in two course seriously, you accused your customers of being dishonest and deceptive?!)

Even for criminal suspects, the presumption of innocence applies; how discriminatory of you to label us unfairly.

You claim that you laughed at our “cheap play”.

It is both unfair and insulting that you collectively make fun of the unfortunate experience of other human fellows (not to mention your customers!).

Wat een onredelijk en onverantwoordelijk antwoord!

Als mijn doel een gratis maaltijd was door jou in de val te lokken, waarom heb ik dan niet voor het duurste gerecht gekozen, maar in plaats daarvan je suggestie gevraagd over "iets snels en mals"?!!

Google-recensie is bedoeld om openhartige persoonlijke ervaringen te delen, en dat is wat ik deed: geschokt door de haarachtige substantie (minstens vier!), eerst met u overlegd, ging met je chef-kok naar de keuken, maar kon het niet verifiëren (na verwarming werd het borstelhaar gekruld, maar zonder ronde kop aan de bovenkant).

Zelfs als ik je bewering accepteer dat dat borstelkopharen zijn, vind je het oke om ze in een maaltijd te hebben?!

Ik ben diep teleurgesteld over hoe u gisteren met de situatie omging (zonder enige verontschuldiging) en hoe u nu een oneerlijk mening stigmatiseert.

Zal dit gesprek doorsturen naar De Geschillencommissie en Klachtenkompas, om een eerlijke oplossing te zoeken voor de ongelukkige behandeling door jou en het stigma van jou.

Ik hoop dat je zult verbeteren en dat toekomstige klanten NOOIT de verwarring en onplezierige ervaring zullen doormaken zoals wij deden.

*Trouwens, mijn vriend is een senior ingenieur en ik ben een advocaat. We kunnen niets schelen over deze kleine dinerrekening - wat ons het meest interesseert, is een eerlijke behandeling en waarheid.

We missed our train and decided to have dinner here while waiting.

We order the course chicken Sate - nice presentation.

Buuut!!! there are at least four suspicious black strings - look like human hair in the dish.

After consulting with the waitress and chef ( who assert they are from the brush-head, the first piece on the first image), I cannot prove or disprove the hairy substance ( the last two on the first image) - due to their shape and form, in particular the pointed end of each string.

Did not finish the dish after this shocking discovery 🙁🙁 paid the full...

Had dinner there with two other people, we ordered the 'to be shared' vegetarian option, and also the 'sharing' option for the deserts.

Food was great, and the staff friendly. Although not the cheapest, felt like a good value for the money.

Would definitively recommend the 'sharing' options if you go there with two or more people. Nice way to try more than one dish. Think the size is designed for two, but it's fairly generous so if not too big of an eater it can easily feed...

Keuze vrij bij mij was voor ons een reden om hier te gaan eten. De entree doet je aan een bruin café denken, maar het achter gelegen restaurant gedeelte is de moeite waard. Netjes. Vriendelijke bediening en redelijk vlotte servering. Het verliep niet vlekkeloos maar dat was niet storend. Het eten is aan de prijs, maar waar niet tegenwoordig. Het eten was niet echt warm. Het was duidelijk warm gehouden totdat we er aan toe waren. De kwaliteit van het eten dat is besteld vanaf een beperkte kaart was goed. De vraag hoe ik de biefstuk wilde hebben ontbrak. De vega burger van avocado was erg lekker. Het feit dat ze aangesloten zijn bij Keuze vrij bij mij en de kwaliteit van het eten is voor ons een reden om hier vaker...
