Surprising, rustic and sea inspired food in a surrounding with potential. But cold.

Went here on February 25th; the day all #covid19 rules were ruled out. Almost an old skool night out. The restaurant space feels large, roomy with nice art pieces. The food was a mix of different sea inspired dishes. With shrimps or sea veggies. Gave a comfy feeling. That was not the same for our host. Somewhat distant and 'not there'. Serving the minimum and that is all. Everybody's got their own way to enjoy an evening out. Personally I love being pampered and and evening well spent by the host. I missed that here.

The size of the building though makes it tough to warm it....we could not get a comfortable feeling all night; only closeby the radiator.

Stond al lang op ons verlanglijstje. Reserveren was een drama stonden niet in de agenda bij de reservering ondanks we s'morgens nog iemand hadden afgemeld . Werd een beetje moeilijk opgelost. Blijkbaar de mogelijkheid via wattsapp wordt niet gecheckt. Llaat dan niet boeken via deze manier . Terwijl we nog iemand afgemeld hadden via deze manier maar goed . Bijzondere uitbaters maar het jonge personeel is vriendelijk . De meeste gerechten waren prima alleen het hoofdgerecht. Hert met kastanjes echt droog en vlees te ver overgaar . Presentatie van de wijn zeer bijzonder. Onze ervaring was niet geweldig. We waren al gewaarschuwd dat het bijzondere uitbaters waren dat hebben we ervaren ook met weg gaan geen interesse voor al hun klanten . Geen fatsoenlijk afscheid meer aandacht voor anderen. Oja kaasplankje echt belachelijk dat je voor 4 mini stukjes nog € 6.50...
