Restaurant De Lange Muur — Restaurant in Koggenland

Worst decision we made in this holiday. Ended with big fight and police. Do yourself a favour and eat somewhere else.

It was completely empty as we arrived.

Because I'm allergic to many things it's not easy for me to go in restaurants. Till now people were always kind and understanding.

They not, first we thought they made all as asked. But there was garlic in the starter, which is one of my allergics. And then there was something else in my main dish. I just tasted a tiny bite of it and asked about. I tried friendly to return. But they came back with it and said we had to pay. And also put a box for the food to takeaway on the table without saying anything.

The old owner tried to find a solution because the new one doesn't understand German or english. They asked us if it's about the money, if we aren't able to pay and told the lie with allergics. Why should someone lie about this? Never ever in my life someone spoke with me in this disrespectful way they did. The old was understands the issue and said she would have take it back. The new one doesn't. She get angry and loud so we called the police to find a solution. She ran towards us and started filming my boyfriend while he was on the phone.

Do yourself a favour and never ever go there. Complete waste of time and energy.

Also I had two days with symptoms of my allergics....

Afhalen is altijd wel prima. Lekker eten voor mooie prijs.

Gisteren met 8 man gegeten, de hele zaak stond blauw, het geserveerde eten was eerder koud / lauw dan warm. 1 van de 8 was wel goed heet. Volgens de eigenaresse hoorde het zo en kon het niet warmer…. Ze wilde zelf niet proeven, vond ik raar. Na enige discussie werd aangeboden om nieuwe gerechten te maken. Aangezien we wel al iets hadden gegeten vroegen we alleen een rijsttafel van 2 personen te doen. We kregen de schalen die van onze tafel afgehaald werden opnieuw opgewarmd terug.

Wel nog wat gegeten, de gezelligheid en het leuke was er wel af. Na toetje snel weer weg. Wel doggybag meegekregen, waarbij restant bij elkaar in 3 bakken is gegooid, mogen maar eens kijken hoe dat is. Bediening is vriendelijk en doet zijn best.

Wat mij betreft houden we het bij afhalen . In het restaurant is het te duur voor wat je krijgt en in ons geval was de klacht niet adequaat...
