Conclusion: The manager on duty at this KFC restaurant located in Lelystad 8226PB on 4th November 2023 PM has 0 concern about the quality of the food they are providing to their customer. So unless you want to eat your food soaked with rain water. Otherwise I’m highly recommending you NOT to use the drive through service this particular KFC restaurant is provided!
What happened: On 4th November 2023 PM I drove my car to this restaurant and ordered 2 box meals via their drive through channel. After I placed my order, I was asked to pull my car into a parking bay which is located on the other side of this restaurant’s order collection window. Between this parking bay and their restaurant, it was completely open air and nothing to cover at all.
When the weather is good, I had no problem to do that. But when I was there on that day, the weather was terrible, it was so rainy, the water came down like a waterfall. So instead of waiting for my order at the parking bay I was asked to go to, I pull my car right by their order collection window, because there is a little roof over head. So if I get my order directly from there, I can make sure that my food does not get wet (otherwise, I guarantee the food will be soaked with rain water due to the fact that 1. it was raining heavily at the time I was there, 2. The staff from that restaurant had to deliver my order by crossing an open air road because the parking bay they asked me to pull over was located on the opposite side of the road, and staff there does not use an umbrella or anything similar to that to protect themselves and food they deliver from the rain water. Therefore, by the time you receive your food, your food will be soaked with rain water)
Whilst I was waiting for my order, there was this guy dressed like a manager came over and very rudely asked me again to pull over my car to that parking bay, but I refused and pointed out that the reason for that was due to the fact that I do not want my order get wet. But he was not listening to my reason at all, insisting me to pull my car over to that parking bay and accusing me to jammed the traffic by not obey his instruction. I repeated my reason for that, but he was just not listening. In the end, he just gave my money back and told me to go away.
I have never come across such manager who has 0 concern about their customer concerns and quality of food they are providing. Therefore unless you want to eat your food soaked with rain water, I highly recommend you not using this restaurant’s drive through service during...
Read moreSo after the first bad experience with KFC and the promise from management that they will do better, I decided to return and do a second order to see if things have changed after a month and all the bad reviews. So, I got the KFC and placed my order. Again, I was asked to park and wait for my food. So, in my opinion, it's better not to use the drive-through. The server came to my vehicle and gave my food. I asked if everything was there, and he informed me that it all should be there, but someone else packed the food. On arrival at home, we took the food out of the bag and guess what.... again, they didn't pack the right food. 1 wrong burger, and they forgot my coleslaw. How many people get done in like this, and how much money does KFC save by doing this every time? I will definitely be doing a return, but this time, it will be on a live on social media where we will do a food reveal to show the outcome in real time.

Read moreMy family typically stops here when we are driving past Lelystad because we all like KFC. I can say that lately every experience is getting worse. They cannot handle the rush hour at all (16:00-19:00), so be prepared for very bad service and poor cleanliness. If you decide to go through the drive-thru it is no better.
The last time the worker told me I took too long ordering so be faster next time because or else her manager would be upset (clearly management is where everything is going wrong here). Only for them to end up getting my order wrong.
