For a lunch menu I ended up at "Eetcafe aan de Maas, terrace on the water" where my choice is "Bread with fried egg, ham and cheese." The staff is nice and helpful. Het eten was erg lekker en meer dan genoeg, maar de eigenaar was helaas erg onbeschoft.

Mijn moeder bestelde een sate met de saus apart/ geen saus aangezien ze satesaus niet lekker vind maar het vlees wel. Dit gaf ze ook aan bij het bestellen waarbij het netjes werd opgeschreven en doorgegeven.

Helaas kreeg ze uiteindelijk toch een stuk vlees met satesaus erop. Ze gaf aan dat ze het zonder saus had gevraagd en er werd op gereageerd dat het vlees werd gegaard in de saus waardoor dit niet mogelijk was. Mijn moeder gaf aan dat ze dit wel eerder hadden mogen melden en gaf als tip dit voortaan vooraf te melden.

Uiteindelijk kwam de eigenaar naar ons toe en viel mijn moeder aan met de vraag waarom ze sate besteld als ze satesaus niet lekker vind. Hierop antwoordde mijn moeder dat ze het vlees wel ontzettend lekker vind en regelmatig bij andere restaurants sate zonder saus besteld waarbij dit wel kan.

Uiteindelijk is de eigenaar boos weggelopen na enige woorden wisseling, maar helaas had dit de stemming voor ons enigzins...
