I've been to 't Wapen van Maeslant several times now, and it's consistently a great experience. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I'm a big fan of their steak it's cooked perfectly and comes with a delicious topping of mushrooms, bacon bits, and onions, plus a generous portion of crispy fries. What really sets this pub apart is the owner's passion and friendliness. He's attentive and clearly loves what he does. The prices are reasonable, around €30-40 for an evening including a meal.
