Partycentrum De Klok — Restaurant in Molenlanden

Our experience at De Klok was rather disappointing. During our first visit, we thoroughly enjoyed a delicious hamburger - juicy and well-seasoned. Encouraged by this, we decided to return after 8 days, hoping for a repeat of this positive experience.

Regrettably, the second time was anything but satisfying. The hamburger we were served had an entirely different and unpleasant texture, akin to rubber, thin, bad quality and with no taste. The meat turned out to be frozen, clearly not up to the standard we had previously experienced. The fries were beyond bad. It was disappointing that the staff did not inform us of this change or lack of ingredients, as they justified this change.

When we expressed our dissatisfaction, the staff's response was subpar. They pointed fingers at the chef and admitted that the waitress was unaware of the situation. However, no apologies were offered, nor was any form of compensation or discount suggested for this negative experience.

Overall, our visit to Party centrum De Klok was unsatisfactory, and the change in quality within such a short period was disheartening. The lacking customer service makes it unlikely for us to return to this place...

Poor service and low quality food, probably because of the many tourists and few other restaurants around.

Our food was first given to other customers, who took it and started eating the fries. They did this because they did not want to wait. Place is busy, wait is long.

The waitress slowly realised her mistake, after I also mentioned it.

Then, she took the order back from the other customers, literally turned around with the food a couple of times, and then brought it to us.

We took it as we had been waiting long, and just did not touch the fries.

Then, the ribs were quite awful and the 10 euro ‘pancake with surprise’ was badly made, without cream or syrup, and the surprise were some cheap eraser.

Just an awful experience.

Let’s be honest. The worst food I had so far in the Netherlands. This city is so cute but then this little restaurant is just too bad. Starting with offering fake coke like from Aldi or Lidl brand but charging you for an original coke. Ordering a real bread sandwich but at the end there’s coming a toast sandwich which is called “healthy” on the menu but there’s nothing healthy at all with.
