McDonald's — Restaurant in Neder-Betuwe

I visited McDonald's Tiel for two consecutive days and had issues both times.

On the first day, I ordered a Mag Menu, but I only received a Mag burger. I understood that it might have been a mistake and clarified that I wanted the full menu, which I eventually received.

On the second day, my wife and I went to the McDrive specifically because she loves McDonald's iced cola. We ordered a hamburger, cheesecake, and cola, but they gave us a plastic bottle of cola instead. When we asked why, the employee said the machine was broken. We accepted that, but then we asked for ice and a cup to pour the cola into. This time, we were told there was no ice, and the response was dismissive, as if they just wanted to get rid of us.

When my wife insisted, the employee said they would call the manager. Within 20 seconds, the manager arrived with a cup full of ice but didn’t even bother to apologize. Instead, they just handed it over and shut the window abruptly.

The real issue here isn’t whether we got cola or not—we are understanding customers. However, the way we were treated, the dismissive responses, and the employees’ facial expressions were unacceptable for any customer.

McDonald's Tiel might think that since they are the only option in the area, customers have no choice but to come to them. However, that is no excuse for poor service. Please train your staff on proper customer communication. And remember, customers are guests—guests should be treated with kindness...

Me, my boyfriend and my little niece came here to eat. We ordered and after 30 minutes, we still hadn't gotten our food. My boyfriend went to the "manager" and told him that we hadn't received our food yet. The "manager" responded with "are you sure?". We eventually got our food after another 20/25 minutes. We didn't get an apology whatsoever, not even a simple "sorry".

Apart from all that, the fries were way too salty and the lemonade was 80% ice, almost no lemonade in it. One of the toilets was gross, the other one had a trash can that was dripping some kind of fluid on top of it.

Worst McDonald's I've ever been to. I won't be coming back here. One star is...

Staff of this particular mcdonalds often miss out some of the food you orde Happened to me several times , last of which was today. I went there to buy breakfast for my family and ordered 2x eggmcmuffin package where you should get 2x egg muffins, 2x coffies, 2x fruit smoothies , 2x croassants and jelly for croassant.

I got everything except 2x croassant which they forgot to put or simply did not have them at the moment. Please stay away frim this franchise.

I will also contact McDonalds HQ in NL and complain about this and hopefully they will urge to get things in...
