McDonald's — Restaurant in Nieuwegein

Before I start reviewing my experience I would like to ask the question, what can you expect from McDonald's? It is not the quality of the food that attracts their clientele. It is also not the high quality accomodations. The only thing you expect from them is 'OK' quality food, ready in a reasonably fast time. So the only actual service required is taking the order.

This is however where in my experience this establishment lacks. Going through the McDrive feels rushed, which is not great but not that bad either. The real point of criticism from my last experience is that my order was cut off. Not only that but I ended up not receiving all that I ordered. I find this extremely disappointing and slightly unprofessional.

Seeing as I am not one to roast and my previous experiences have been adequate at least, I therefore give 3 stars. I expect this to be incidental and am otherwise satisfied. By far not the worst McDonald's...

I came today right at the opening to eat breakfast. The first thing that caught my eye was the glass of the entrance door smeared with fingerprints. They obviously hadn't been cleaned before opening. Then I went up to the screen to place an order. But absolutely every screen was smeared with very greasy fingerprints, it was unpleasant to touch them, when I touched the screen, I felt the rough surface of other people's fingerprints. After I told the workers that the screens were dirty and asked to wipe them, nothing was done even half an hour after I finished eating and left the establishment. Although there were very few customers. When I came there were only two companies besides me. I checked and all the screens and doors were still dirty. I took a few pictures but they are hard to see. Disgusting...

This is the second time we have been here in the spam of a year and i can say that the food was good both times, the service was good as well. However!! On both occasions there was this constant peeping from a machine in the kitchen. Like something wasn’t functioning and/or needed tending to. And it’s just not nice to have to hear it almost constantly as you eat (there is half a minute’s reprieve once in a while). I can’t imagine having to work with that constant peeping, i really admire the workers for not quitting...
