Iterij by de Mune — Restaurant in Noardeast-Fryslân

Me and my husband ordered two vegetarian burger (as listed in the menu), being the only guests at that time (!) to our surprise we got: beef and bacon burgers. Maybe the friendly waitress got mixed up or confused with the german menu and our english order? We wouldnt know because she didnt ask to clarify, nor did she repeat what we ordered. So, We kindly asked to please replace the meat burgers with the veggie burgers we ordered. All well, no problem for us. Buuuuut the veggie burgers were the worst we ever had and we are n o t picky. The “burger“ consisted of a plain bun with a serverly burned veggie-patty. No sauce, no cheese, no salad/tomatoes/anything. These burgers were dry and sad and burnt. The food just wasnt good, simple as that. we did/do NOT rate the service (which was ok). Sadly enough, The owner of the place seems to indicate we wouldnt know bacon is not vegetarian...which is a rather irritating approach...

The Iterij by de Mûne is a pleasant restaurant in the middle of Eanjum right beside the city's mill.

The restaurant offers good variety of food with dishes like burgers, ribs and the usual Dutch food - all of them taste amazing (only the salad coming with the burger didn't quite fulfill my expectations). The prices are really good, especially the beverages can be considered cheap.

But the main reason we kept coming were the waitresses, especially one of them made every visit a joy. They are professional, chill and really nice to every...
