Fantastic. Since thirty years it's been my favourite Chinese place.
While I wish they would start serving steamed dumplings and perhaps add a chicken kung po to the menu, the food they sell is of good and consistent quality.
The staff is fantastic, but that might be down to me coming there for so long that I know them all. :)
Once, they switched their supplier of krupuk, but we had a chat about it and some weeks later the old krupuk re-appeared, so I get a feeling they listen to their clients.
Then you always get a choice of bowl-and-sticks versus plates, they give you a nice hot towel after the meal and the ambiance is just nice.
I wholeheartedly recommend De Lange Muur, even when comparing it to places like Dynasty...
Read moreI ask for some more information when I wanted to order, about the three dishes that I had focussed on. I wanted to know which one was more or less spicy, but the waitress said only YES each time I asked. So I ordered the dish I thought was spicy but it was "tasteless" like the white rice. The chips that they were serving right after you sit down, where the most spicy eatable thing in this Chinese restaurant. It was now the second time that I have eaten there, after the first time I thought it was a bad Monday but this is all but not a good Chinese restaurant. I go somewhere else next time...

Everyone in the restaurant was smiling and willing to serve, the crispy pork I ordered was delicious.
