We visited this steakhouse because we heard the food was great – and to be fair, it really was. The steaks were delicious and perfectly cooked.

However, the service was very disappointing. We brought our young puppy with us, and before coming we specifically asked if dogs were allowed. They told us they are dog-friendly, so we thought it would be fine. Our puppy barked maybe three times, and right after that the staff already got visibly annoyed and told us to “keep the dog quiet.” It’s a baby – what do you expect? That was really uncomfortable.

Also, we wanted to buy two extra slices of toast (literally buy them), since they come with the menu anyway, but the waiter just said they couldn’t sell us more because they “don’t have much toast.” That really ruined the dining experience.

In short: amazing food, but the service and attitude toward customers – especially those with dogs – were very unfriendly. Wouldn’t go back despite...

This café is located in “Noordwijk Binnen”, the part of Noordwijk that’s a bit further from the busy North sea coast. Parking is available in the area and the “restaurant” is more like an English pub being it is a bar the serves a fixed dish per day. Check the website for the dishes on offer per day of the week and book in advance. They have three times lots and we had the steak. It is served with a simple salade, steak on a plate with gravy and slice of white bread; perfect! Not to forget; a bowl of fries and mayo! Have a cold bear and pay an acceptable price for it (around € 25 per person with some drinks). Atmosphere fine, service simple but good. Very nice place to have a steak dinner...
