Hotel Restaurant De Ploeg — Restaurant in Oude IJsselstreek

Since I live in Varsseveld I obviously never used the hotel. It opened September 2013 and when we were shown around everything looked very nice and comfortable. Since it opened some 50 guests have rated this hotel 9,6 out of 10 on booking.com, that should say enough. Me and my wife quite frequently come here for diner and we realy enjoy that. The quality of the food is really good and it is presented in a friendly feel-like-home atmosphere. Both the hosts and the rest of the staff make you feel welcome and if I was not living in the village, this would certainly be my choice. As said, they have a very good restaurant, but also there is a nice pub and a bowling right next door (same owner) and they can arrange for bike rental, balloon rides, golf etc. At the moment the hotel is mainly used by business travellers but to my opinion also for the leasure travellers who like to visit the beautiful Achterhoek area this hotel has...

We arrived in Zeddam on June 27th and had a nightmare experience with our initially booked hotel and the one we were send to after they told us we would not have a room as they would not have a reservation from us and would not have any rooms left... ||||So by luck we found this hotel online on Saturday morning the 28th June.||We called and they had a room. ||||When we arrived we were so happy. The village is nice, everything you need is in walking distance. Like a super market or convenience store... Bars, Snacks... ||||The hotel and its Restaurant look brilliant and modern. The service and the the reception was flawless and friendly.||||The rooms are big and clean and well equipped. Sharp LED TV, Babyliss Hairdryer, Warhol wall pictures, design lights...
