Apart from the name, the delicious Italian wines and some pasta and risotto dish on the menu, I'm sorry to say that there is nothing Italian about the menu. The Caprese salad was lacking of taste. When placing this salad on your menu, you have to make sure that you buy the mozzarella di bufala and that it has taste. The tomatoes tasted like water. Surprisingly it was topped of with a dressing off pesto (it seemed) which didn't have any taste either. Adding a little bit of fresh garlic and fresh basil leaves can make a big difference. My partner had the tournedos, which was divine, but also here: if you place the tournedos on a bed of rucola topped of with fresh (tasteful) cherry tomatoes and thin slices of parmesan cheese, it completely changes the dish (in a good way) and makes it more Italian. The dessert list was ok, what could be added is a chocolate dessert.
I hope that you will accept my feedback in a positive way and see it as a learning curve for the future. Of course I'm not a Chef but I am Italian and have many years of experience in cooking real, authentic, Italian dishes. In case you need other advice on the Italian kitchen, don't hesitate to let me know.
