Drove 60 km to De Kleine Schorre solely to have lunch and shop, and drove another 60 km home!! Were we happy with our lunch? NO!!! 27 October 2023 was our first time to De Kleine Schorre, my husband had shrimp croquettes and I had the plank with all sorts of goodies (see photo 1) I was happy with what I had and I said we have to go back again, Today we make this special trip to de Kleine Schorre and what a Disappointment! I will never go back again to De Kleine Schorre! Today my husband and I ordered the plank with goodies. (See photo 2, for 2 persons). When the waitress put the plank on our table, I told my husband immediately “something stinks”! I took the small tray of razor clams and it smelled. I try to remove from its shell and unable to get it out. It was RAW! I know some people like it raw but not me. I told the waitress and she took it back to the kitchen. After a while the Cook came to our table and explained that he did cook the razor clams slightly because too long cooking will make it tough. Yes I agreed with him but it was very clearly he had totally forgot to cook it slightly (as he claimed), and now bringing back the slightly cooked razor clams to our table, it was not tough and the taste was good. Nice of the Cook to give his explanation BUT this was definitely forgotten to cook the razor clams. I did not believe him when he said he have it cooked slightly the first time! This plank was for 2 persons and the small mussels bowl was not for 2 persons, (compare the 2 photos.) And we miss the portion of Hollandse garnalen too. After lunch we went to the shop to do our shopping. Was I happy with this special trip? NO! Will I come back to De Kleine Schorre again? NO! Will I put it on Instagram to recommend to my friends like I did on October 2023? NO! Date of experience: August 2025

Absolutely amazing fish soup! All the food we tried was very good. The wine in the shop and in the restaurant is definitely overpriced compared to the same type of wine you buy in Alsace, but it is what it is. The lady in the shop was very nice and brought us a cold bottle of wine from the restaurant🙏🏻 thank you

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant mit einem super Ambiente. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Die Geschmacks Komponenten waren sehr gut kombiniert. Vor allem merkt man schnell, dass das Essen sehr gut verarbeitet worden ist. Meiner Meinung nach konnte man sogar die Qualität der Lebensmittel schmecken! Da ich das Menü gewählt habe (diese sollte man auf jeden Fall wählen) konnte ich vieles Probieren. Beim Essen bin ich auf den Schluss gekommen, dass es ein nahe zu perfektes Essen ist, das hier Serviert wird. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön trotz des großen Saals ist es überraschend ruhig. Der Service war sehr gut, die einzige Ausnahme war die etwas zu lange Wartezeit. Die Sauberkeit war hier auch hervorragend! Insgesamt kommt man hier auf den Schluss das es ein sehr gutes und hervorragendes Lokal ist!
