Absolutely no knowledge of food handler safety. The chefs, touched their noses, coughed into their hands, touched raw meat & the prepared food without washing their hands! No hair nets were worn. The lady seating you handled money & then cut bread without washing her hands. No English menu & since it has poor ventilation, you left the resturant smelling like a campfire.

Now onto the food. My asparagus was delicious but my lamb shoulder was overcooked. And since it was overcooked, I could have used more sauce on it to help it go down easier.

In conclusion, don't waste your money on this mediocre food, poorly prepared by chefs who don't understand...

Every time we are in the area this is the one restaurant we always visit. Staff and food never disappoints. We have been coming back now for years with family, friends, on our own and the quality stays the same. Every recommendation is spot on, nothing seems to be an issue, even our vegetarian daughter is well looked after. It’s hard to pick the favourite dish, but if I must it will be ceviche of sea bass and one of the entrecote. Great selection of wines. Brilliant ambience, amazing during the summer with possibility of dinning outdoor, but very cozy on a rainy day too. Always look forward to come here and find any excuse travel (from UK)...

Bij mij in de buurt zit een slager. Als ik ooit nog eens besluit drastisch minder vlees te eten, koop ik alleen nog maar vlees bij hem. Het is van enorm goede kwaliteit, maar zo duur dat ik me niet meer dan twee of drie dagen per week vlees kan veroorloven.

Hetzelfde gevoel bekruipt me bij Grenzeloos. Hun vlees (en ook hun vis trouwens) is van zeer hoge kwaliteit en wordt gebakken op een grote open houtskoolgrill, die alle goede eigenschappen van dat vlees perfect benadrukt. Een genot voor iedere vleesliefhebber! De prijzen zijn navenant (35 tot 45 euro voor een hoofdgerecht) maar de kwaliteit meer dan waard. Dit is bijzonder vlees voor een bijzondere gelegenheid.

Wat echter schuurt, is het prijsniveau van de wijnen. Niks onder de 45 euro, en wie niet voor een zuinige Hollander wil doorgaan, kiest al snel een fles voor 60 euro of meer. Ik vind dat heel veel geld.

Dat kost ze de vijfde ster in mijn recensie. Maar eigenlijk moet ik niet zeuren. Schreef ik niet net “bijzonder vlees voor een bijzondere...
