For this amount of money I had really expected more. And for this price, I can almost spent a night in a 5 star hotel room in Utrecht city. And there is the standard much higher than was the case here I can tell! At first glance, the room is ok and clean. But looking further and especially sleeping (attempted) you notice that the room is very noisy. Both sound of the neighbors, the adjacent road and air conditioning. You can not open a window in this room because the road is too noisy; getting the feeling sleeping at a gas station.The air conditioning is the only option in this stuffy room. The advantage of it is that you are less hear the snoring neighbor. But air conditioning or window you definitely need, because there is no other airflow or does not work. Have you been to the toilet then it stinks up the whole room.||The breakfast is a joke: the night before they drop a paper bag with 3 small breads in the kitchen and that's it. No juice, no milk, just that and some cereals, with what?||The sad thing is that there does not get much better in Steenbergen. This hotel in Steenbergen is a little gem - just 5 rooms. All rooms recently refurbished to a very high standard. Coffee maker and coffee bags as standard. Very comfortable beds and large bathroom in all rooms||Slightly strange that you have your breakfast in your own room (or can take it onto the terrace if weather OK). Juice, cereal, milk in fridge and late the previous evening your fridge has a large plate of cooked meats and cheeses placed in it, also 3 really nice rolls per person.||We arrived back after 9 one night and it was no trouble at all to provide meals for 6 of us at a moments notice - the best steaks we have ever had!. The normal evening food was always quite excellent with a wide range of choices.||Staff could not have been more friendly and helpful and although not cheap, it was excellent...
