Situated in a very beautiful location, right in front of the Dinteloord canal. Parking is free on the street, and there were no issues finding a spot right in front of the inn. The hotel also has a restaurant and bar with fairly reasonable prices. The room was very nice, equipped with WiFi, TV, and a view of the canal. Shared showers. The toilet was on the lower floor (where there are no rooms) and to access it, you had to go down a steep staircase with very narrow steps, which was quite dangerous. Geen gastvrijheid voor hotelgasten. Prijs-kwaliteit verhouding klopt van geen kant. Bij aankomst kijkt niemand naar je om. Ik moest smeken om een veilige plek voor de fiets, moest ‘m buiten zetten en kreeg uiteindelijk met moeite voor elkaar dat hij ‘s nachts binnen mocht staan. De kamer is prima maar verder is alles karig. Een rafelige handdoek alsof het een afdankertje is, een wc beneden van het restaurant, gedeelde badkamer. Geen ontbijt maar er zou wel koffie en thee op de kamer zijn. Die koffie is er niet, alleen vier theezakjes. Ze boden ook niet aan dat ik er kon eten of even wat drinken (daar heb je zin in als je op de fiets aankomt) dus ik heb maar bij de buren gegeten. De hele avond moet je luisteren naar de lol op het terras en de continu (elke vijf minuten tot laat in de avond) slaande deur van het personeel die je bed doet dreunen. Gehorig, de buurman vond het nodig tot middernacht te bellen. Vroeg wakker door gerommel en gezamenlijke douche. Ook bij vertrek geen vraag of het bevallen is of dat ik nog koffie wens (het is een café!) voor ik op de fiets stap. Voor minder heb ik deze reis véél beter geslapen en ontbeten en me...
